'A hot mess': Summer Walker TROLLED for 'naked' BET outfit after announcing second pregnancy

Summer Walker got brutally trolled for her outfit at the 2022 BET Awards after she officially announced her second pregnancy. She has a one-year-old daughter with her ex-boyfriend and producer London On Da Track, and is now expecting her second child, her first with, LVRD Pharoh, who's a rapper. Summer explained that it means a lot for her to announce her pregnancy this time as the luxury was stolen from her the first time around. 

The 26-year-old American R&B singer posted a series of photos on her Instagram on Saturday, June 25, which was later followed by a live session where she announced her pregnancy, a day before the BET Awards. She said, "People asking me if I’m pregnant…I am and you know I’m very, very, very, very, happy about it. Very excited about it. And this is gonna be — I’m very very excited because it’s going to be different from how it was before. It’s really peaceful, really happy, lots of help, lots of love." She continued, "The only reason I’m even saying anything is because last time I felt very disrespected that people didn’t let me tell that myself. People were taking pictures of me in the store — I know it kind of comes with the job –… [but] people took pictures of me and sent it to The Shade Room before I could even announce my pregnancy. I thought that was very disrespectful and it made me very, very, very, very, very upset.”

While LVRD Pharoh might seem like a new face to fans, Walker knows him for over fours years. In a now-deleted Instagram post, as per HotNewHipHop, Walker said, "So grateful to have this man. he just increases my over all quality of life,” She added, “I’ve never had someone put me & my child first before everything. To not have to lift a finger, for someone to truly be emotionally & spiritually intelligent & invested in me. It’s new & it’s nice.”

However, Walker's BET 2022 outfit instantly led people to troll her. She sported a tribal look, showing off her baby bump, which was inspired by the traditional Hmong jewelry. She could be seen in a custom gold two-piece by Laurel Street with matching gold accessories. Fans instantly trolled her for arriving at the Awards 'naked' and made fun of her not having a stylist.

One user said, "I’m convinced Summer Walker doesn’t have a stylist cuz what the hell is this #BETAwards." Another user tweeted, "Summer Walker Really Need A Psychiatric WARD Not The BET Awards Smh.." Some people couldn't help but think of whoever agreed this outfit. One user said, "Who told Summer Walker to wear that on the red carpet? Why didn’t anybody try to stop her? WTF! A hot mess! #BETAwards."

One user said, "What the hell is Summer Walker wearing for #BETAwards it’s not a carnival sis." Another user wrote, "I wake up from my nap and I see Summer Walker’s nekkid at the #BETAwards with symbols pasted on her nipples? Whet?"

People couldn't help but advice Summer to find herself a stylist because clearly the outfit didn't work in her favor. One user said, "Someone better find summer walker a stylist because..... #BETAwards."

The trolling didn't stop as one user wrote, "Ima just leave summer Walker where she at and only focus on her music. Bcuz baby, I never know what to expect with her this look at the BET awards." Another frustrated user tweeted, "Welp i have 20 mins to get summer walker ready for the @BETAwards wish me luck."
