Lisa Marie Presley paid respect to Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27, in a lengthy Instagram post on May 14, Saturday. "I haven't posted in quite some time because there really isn't much to say," the daughter of Elvis Presley, 54, said. "I am and will forever be mourning the loss of my son."

"Navigating through this hideous grief that absolutely destroyed and shattered my heart and my soul into almost nothing has swallowed me whole. Not much else aside from my other 3 children gets my time and attention anymore," the post read. Lisa Marie's post was accompanied by a promo shot for Baz Luhrmann's upcoming film "Elvis," in which Austin Butler plays her father, the title character.

"Absolutely exquisite," she remarked, adding that she'd "eat her own foot" if Butler didn't win an Oscar for the part. "Austin Butler channeled and embodied my father's heart and soul beautifully. In my humble opinion, his performance is unprecedented and FINALLY done accurately and respectfully."

"You can feel and witness Baz's pure love, care, and respect for my father throughout this beautiful film, and it is finally something that myself and my children and their children can be proud of forever," she concluded. Riley Keough, 32, and twins Finley and Harper Lockwood, 13, were among Lisa Marie's other children who had emotional reactions to the video.

"What moved me to tears as well was watching Riley and Harper, and Finley afterwards, all 3 visibly overwhelmed in the best way possible way, and so filled with pride about their grandfather and his legacy in a way that I have not previously experienced," she exclaimed. "It breaks my heart that my son isn't here to see it. He would have absolutely loved it as well."

Benjamin died on July 12, 2020, at his home in Calabasas, California. His death was deemed a suicide by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office. He was laid to rest in Graceland three months after his death, alongside his grandfather Elvis Presley and several other family members.
