'Below Deck': Heather and Fraser slammed as 'mean girls' for 'bullying' Jessica

In a surprising turn of events, Heather and Fraser seem to have teamed up against third stew Jessica Albert on 'Below Deck'

Every charter season on 'Below Deck' has its own fair share of drama, be it demanding guests or the bubbling tension among the crew members. Season 9 of 'Below Deck' is no different. At the young age of 25, Heather Chase managed to accomplish the incredible feat of becoming Chief Stew on the luxury megayacht- My Seanna. When she explained how she worked really hard to get to the top, fans were hoping to see this young stew become the new Kate Chastain.

Unfortunately from the get-go, Heather failed to make an impression on fans. From her poor management skills to bossy nature, everything about her rubbed fans the wrong way. The initial few episodes featured Heather lashing out at her second stew Fraser Olender. But in a surprising turn of events, Heather and Fraser seem to have teamed up against the third stew Jessica Albert. Heather put Fraser on housekeeping duty and Jessica on laundry service. Thanks to her poor management skills, she expected Fraser to toggle between service and housekeeping while Jessica was left doing only laundry. When Fraser communicated how it was difficult for him to juggle between both the responsibilities, Heather took it into consideration and began assigning more responsibilities to Jessica.

Jessica quietly did whatever was asked of her, but when she learned that her grandmother wasn't keeping well and had to undergo a procedure she got very upset. Jessica was feeling under the weather as she stressed over her grandmother's health. Fraser noticed it and complained to Heather about how Jessica was bringing everybody's spirits down with her miserable attitude. Heather then pulled Jessica aside and had a word with her. The third stew promised that she wouldn't let her personal affairs affect her work and continued to carry out all the tasks assigned to her.

So toward the end of the charter when it was time for Captain Lee Rosbach to split the tip money and give his feedback about the crew's performance, he praised Jessica's work. Fraser was livid. He declared to Heather that even he would do the bare minimum and look miserable all the time so that Captain Lee would praise him as well. Heather felt bad for Fraser and decided to switch things up to make him feel better. In the preview clip for the next episode, we see Heather announcing that Fraser would be on laundry duty while Jessica would handle service. Based on the cliffhanger it looks like Jessica failed to impress the guests with her service and Heather can be seen looking upset.

When fans watched this they began calling out Heather and Fraser for ganging up on Jessica. A fan tweeted, "#belowdeck I just feel like Fraser and Heather are bullying Jess at this point." Another fan wrote, "I was much more Team Fraser when he and Jessica were kosher. There's an underdog vibe when it's the 2nd and 3rd griping about the Chief. But when it's the Chief and the 2nd going after the 3rd it gives off mean vibes. #BelowDeck." Another fan expressed, "Heather & Fraser are mean girls! They don’t come up with solutions or have empathy. They b*tch & moan & throw Jessica under the bus to justify their shortcomings. Heather, If you only knew the smack Fraser says about you behind your back. #BelowDeck."

It's just so gross, I hope he's ashamed of his behavior, but I doubt he is. #belowdeck."
