Kate Chastain has been an integral part of 'Below Deck' since Season 2. She served as the chief stewardess for six seasons and had amassed quite the following, but her fans were thrown into a spiral when she announced her exit from the show.

"After many months of reflection and internal discussions, I have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new land based role. I intend to step back as a senior member of the Below Deck Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support His Majesty Andy Cohen," she posted on Instagram.

But that doesn't have to mean she has disappeared from the Bravo-sphere. So, what is she doing now?

Kate signed up for 'Bravo's Chat Room,' a late-night show that premiered on September 27 on Bravo. She along with 'Summer House' star Hannah Brenner, and 'Real Housewives' franchise stars Gizelle Byrant and Porsha Williams came together to discuss pop culture, bravo's iconic moments from shows and beyond. Talking to Decider about her new gig ahead of its premiere, she said that it was a "dream come true" for her.

"We have a dream team of ladies. I have always been a Bravo superfan. Finally, I get to talk about my true passion, which is just Bravo shows and pop culture. It's so exciting," Kate expressed. Even though she seems to be enjoying her new role on 'Bravo's Chat Room', Kate seems to have not gotten over 'Below Deck'. She described her relationship with the show as one with a former lover.

"But it's like, even when you break up with somebody, even if you don't want to be with them anymore — you still don't want them to like their new girlfriend better," Kate said and further added that she is excited to watch the new season and eager to know how Captain Lee Rosbach handles the charters. "You want them to always be like, the one that got away! But of course I'm excited to see the new season. I only wish the best. I can't wait to see how Captain Lee handled it in my absence," she added.

Catch 'Below Deck' Season 8 premiere on November 2, Monday, at 9/8c. For more information, check your local listings.
