Why did David Charvet end up as a criminal suspect?

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources have revealed that David Charvet, the 'Baywatch' star, is a suspect in a recent criminal threats report filed by his ex-girlfriend, Katie Boskovich. Apparently, the two had recently ended their relationship, but during a heated argument last week, they began to argue about each other's lifestyles. Boskovich alleged that during the argument, Charvet told her that "this won't end well" for her, which caused her to feel afraid. As a result, she filed a police report, and the LAPD is now investigating the incident.

Once the investigation concludes, it is likely that the prosecutor's office will review the case and make a decision on whether or not to file charges. Charvet has reportedly claimed that neither has the LAPD contacted him nor is he aware of the apparent allegations.

What is life after 'Baywatch' for David Charvet?

David Charvet, a French former actor and pop star who rose to fame playing Matt Brody in 'Baywatch' from 1992 to 1996, has now established himself as a successful builder. He stumbled into this new career path after being unhappy with the work of the original contractor hired to build his Malibu home in 2006. Charvet fired the contractor and took over the project with the help of a project manager.

Charvet has not appeared on screen since 2013's 'Prisoners of the Sun', but he briefly returned to TV in 2017 for 'The New Celebrity Apprentice', alongside his now-ex-wife Brooke Burke. The couple split in 2018 and their divorce was finalized in 2020, nine years after they first tied the knot in 2011. They have two children together, daughter Heaven who is now 16, and son Shaya who is 15. Despite their separation, Charvet and Burke continue to co-parent their children amicably.
