Charvet and Boskovich had recently ended their relationship prior to the altercation. Boskovich claims that Charvet told her "it won't end well" for her, causing her to feel fearful. David Charvet, a French former actor and pop star who rose to fame playing Matt Brody in 'Baywatch' from 1992 to 1996, has now established himself as a successful builder. Charvet fired the contractor and took over the project with the help of a project manager.
Charvet has not appeared on screen since 2013's 'Prisoners of the Sun', but he briefly returned to TV in 2017 for 'The New Celebrity Apprentice', alongside his now-ex-wife Brooke Burke. The couple split in 2018 and their divorce was finalized in 2020, nine years after they first tied the knot in 2011.
