Lamar Odom and Liza Morales' kids', Destiny and Lamar Jr, college funds have been a recurring topic of conversation on 'Basketball Wives'. She has been vocal about money and how Lamar has been avoiding chatting with her about it. 

There have been multiple instances Liza has brought it up during the last few episodes of the show. The ladies however thought that even though the ex-couple co-parents their kids it was time for her to loosen up a little, have fun, and cut that umbilical cord because the children are all grown up and can take care of themselves.

Listening to Liza worry about kids' college money, fans weighed in with their two cents, said the NBA star was out of money. Some even speculated if he blew it up on drugs. Now, that couldn't be too far-fetched because in his memoir 'Darkness to Light', Lamar did admit to paying for strippers and doing drugs until one day he slipped into a coma and that served as a wake-up call. 

A few years ago, his friends told Hollywood Life that Lamar was spending like he's banking millions. "He’s spending bandz on bandz like he has an endless bank account. At the rate he’s going he’s going to be broke,” a confidante told the outlet and added: "He’s surrounding himself with all of his day ones and it’s quite the party when they’re all kicking it. He feels he’s invincible." This was during Khloe Kardashian and his divorce. As of 2021, his net worth is $30 million, Wealthy Gorilla reported.
