BAFTAs 2020 full winners list: Sam Mendes' war drama '1917' and 'Parasite' prove to be night's biggest wins

'1917' was the big winner at the 73rd British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA) after the World War I drama scored seven trophies, including Best Film and Best Director for Sam Mendes along with wins for cinematography, sound, production design and visual effects.

Joaquin Phoenix ('Joker') and Renee Zellweger ('Judy') won for leading roles, while Brad Pitt ('Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood') and Laura Dern ('Marriage Story') won in the supporting categories.

The Best Original Screenplay went to Bong Joon Ho for his Palme D’Or-winning 'Parasite', receiving the award alongside cowriter Han Ji Won. The film also won the trophy for the Best Film Not in the English Language category.

Meanwhile, the Best Adapted Screenplay went to Taika Waititi for 'Jojo Rabbit', but fans were still rooting for Greta Gerwig's 'Little Women'.
