'At least sit up when you say sorry': Nardo Wick's video apology slammed as rapper allegedly refuses to cooperate with police
TAMPA, FLORIDA: Rapper Nardo Wick is under increasing pressure with the release of photos by Tampa police featuring two members of his crew who are allegedly responsible for the severe beating of a devoted fan who was only attempting to get a photo with the artist.
Despite releasing an apology statement and a video apology to his fan, the rapper has come under fire from the young fan's father, who disclosed that his family intends to launch a lawsuit for not naming the suspects.
The family of George Obregon Jr, 20, claimed that he was viciously attacked by the 21-year-old rapper's entourage in Tampa, Florida, and is still in serious condition in the hospital with a brain hemorrhage and a severe concussion.

George Obregon Jr's father claims Nardo Wick refused to work with authorities
Disturbing social media footage revealed that after Obregon Jr approached Wick (real name is Horace Walls III), one of the rapper's crew members knocked him unconscious before another punched him into the ground.
Speaking in Spanish, George Obregon Sr, a native of Cuba, claimed that although Wick has refused to cooperate with authorities, he is aware of the identity of his son's attackers because they were part of his team.
On Wednesday, November 29, Obregon Sr told Daily Mail, "Wick has not spoken to us. What he should do is collaborate with police because those men were with him, they came out of the place together."
"We don't know the suspect's name because the rapper has not identified them. [Wick] is not talking. He does not want to cooperate," added the father of the alleged victim.
Obregon Sr couldn't provide further information on his son's condition since his family is currently suing Wick. Obregon Jr, who had VIP tickets to the Monday night performance of Wick, has shown signs of improvement.
The distressed father claimed he hasn't even been able to view the entire footage of the now-viral attack, adding that the frantic thrashing has left the whole family in disarray.
Obregon Sr stated, "We don't know if George is going to be okay... there can be long term effects. We're very scared, you don't know what can happen with a blow to the head."
"I can’t even finish watching the video, I want to watch it frame by frame to see what happened but my body just can’t … it’s such a great abuse, I just can’t comprehend it," continued the father.
He added, "We have an ache in our heart and feel a sense of helplessness that nobody can imagine until you go through it yourself."
"He loved this rapper — he has his pictures in his room, imagine how we feel! The photo is still in his room and I just want to rip it," further mentioned Obregon Sr.
Internet slams Nardo Wick's video apology
Following the unsettling incident, Nardo Wick released an apology statement and a video apology on his social media account. However, eagle-eyed Internet users were not pleased by his approach to the apology.

Another chimed in, "Looks like the man dozed off and is talking in his sleep. Look into the camera as if you are looking the fan in the eyes. Fire your security and find people who are professionals."
"Minimum he should pay for the medical bills, I have a feeling the kid might need physical therapy due to brain injury. He should pay for that too and offer something for the pain and suffering," noted a person.
Someone else mentioned, "There’s a little less effort in this video then it is to stand up or sit up. Sorry not sorry."

"Celebrities need to have a conversation with their security detail. You don’t put your hands on the same fans that put money in your pockets," criticized a person.
