Astrologer warns against April's pink full moon, advises to 'bunker down' to save dearest relationships
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A renowned astrologer has suggested that over the weekend, everyone watch what they say and "bunker down" if they want their relationships to survive. This weekend, it will be particularly difficult for Cancers, Capricorns, Aries and Libras to relax, Rose Smith has warned.
"It's fine to celebrate on Easter Sunday, just watch for family arguments for three days from the full moon (April 6 to April 9)," Smith told FEMAIL. She added, "You need to be a homebody over Easter to have more privacy, to seek protection and nurturance." She also said if the family is "coming to you," you must have an escape plan in mind.

'Libra full moon will oppose an Aries Sun'
While the Libra full moon usually has a softer influence, some other cosmic influences have the power to aggravate the harsher side of the sign. "This Libra full moon will oppose an Aries Sun, which is focused on self, and other planets making hard aspects to Pluto. These aspects may add to already heightened emotions, especially when it comes to romantic relationships," the astrologer said.
Smith stated that things become especially interesting when Pluto moves into Aquarius. "Pluto reflects the underside of life, manipulation, power, control, dominance, addiction and even death! Often this can be the death of the ego, but it can even feel like a physical death of some kind. We have to radically change our minds about something," she added.
Smith said the energy could cause a hard breakup and cause confusion before couples have time to reconcile. "Libra is symbolized by the scales and loves balance, and especially with the March equinox and the current movement of Pluto into Aquarius, there is a need for balance now more than ever," she said. Smith also suggested that people focus on art, beauty and peace, and be careful when they start to feel frustrated as planetary influences could make it difficult for them to maintain self control.
What is the Paschal Moon?
This month's full moon is called the 'pink' full moon, named after the wildflower pink phlox. These flowers can be seen in the US at this time of the year. April's full moon is known as the Paschal Full Moon for people who celebrate Easter. Easter takes place on the first Sunday after the Paschal Moon rises. This is when Smith says one must "focus on art, beauty and peace, and be careful even if you feel frustrated, really focus on the Libran art of negotiation."
Explaining when the Paschal Full Moon rises in 2023, Almanac mentions, "Using the astronomical dates for 2023, the vernal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere occurs on Monday, March 20. The first full Moon to occur after that equinox date is April’s full Pink Moon, which reaches peak illumination on Thursday, April 6, at 12:37 A.M. Eastern Time (or Wednesday, April 5, for more westerly time zones). According to this general guideline, this makes April’s full Moon the Paschal Full Moon and therefore Easter will be observed on the first Sunday after April 6: Sunday, April 9!"
