'My nipples were on fire': Ashton Kutcher says he BLED from his nipples during marathon trial run

In the course of a 17-mile practice session for a marathon, 44-year-old Ashton Kutcher discovered that he was bleeding through his nipples. On August 11, the actor made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, revealing his experience of the New York Marathon training sessions.
 
"I had bloody nipples. I’m like what is happening right now? My legs were fine, but my nipples were on fire," said Ashton to the celebrity host, David Alan Grier. David then gave Ashton a pair of golden nipple tassels as band-aids for his nipples to help him endure the damage as a precaution. "Put these bad boys on," said the guest presenter, as Ashton accepted the gift.

In addition to this, Ashton disclosed that it was his first race. He revealed that he would be participating in this marathon in support of Thorn, a non-profit organization that works to prevent children from being sexually exploited. "I started training for it, on my treadmill watching the instructor, doing the thing, I have one of these Peloton treadmills, and I’m like, "Man this is a lot of running" because the only thing you can do to get better at running is run," he said with a laugh.
 
He continued by saying that he even approached Peloton with a proposal for a program in which he and his pals would be interviewed while running in his basement. "So we set this thing up in my basement, and we’ve been shooting, and we’ve shot like 10 episodes of this show with Natalie Portman, Kenny Chesney and with just friends, Chris Paul, that come over. It’s making running fun!"
 
The 'No Strings Attached' actor revealed that a couple of years ago that he was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune illness called vasculitis that had affected his vision, hearing, and speech. "Like two years ago, I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis that like knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out like all my equilibrium," Ashton said in a video from an upcoming episode of "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" posted by Access Hollywood. "It took me like a year to build it all back up again. You don’t really appreciate it until it’s gone until you go, "I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to see again; I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to hear again; I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to walk again," he added.
 
Following his assurance to his supporters on Twitter that he has completely healed from it, Ashton said that he is preparing for a marathon. "Before there are a bunch of rumours/ chatter/ whatever out there. Yes, I had a rare vasculitis episode 3yrs ago. (Autoimmune flair up). I had some impairments hear, vision, balance issues right after. I fully recovered. All good.  Moving on. See you at the 2022 NY Marathon w/Thorn," he tweeted.
