LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Armie Hammer's stepmom is suing his brother Viktor alleging the latter is preventing her from accessing the fortune bequeathed to her in their father Michael's will. Misty Millward accused Viktor Hammer, 35, of blocking her inheritance in court documents filed on January 10. However, Armie, 36, is not named in the lawsuit.

Michael Hammer, who inherited the majority of a $40 million oil fortune, succumbed to cancer in November at the age of 67. According to Millward, Viktor used his position as a securities broker at Morgan Stanley to block her from accessing well over $2 million in an account Michael created for her. She alleged that she attempted to transfer the funds on December 23, a month after her husband's demise, but was unable to do so.

The lawsuit

"Morgan Stanley has refused to transfer the Account holding securities and cash greatly exceeding $2 million to Misty, thereby breaching Morgan Stanley's contractual obligation to Misty as beneficiary," the lawsuit states. "This position is similar to Morgan Stanley's position in refusing to honor authorized transfers of funds from foundations created by Michael Hammer, Armand Hammer Foundation, Inc., and Hammer International Foundation, Inc., all caused by interference by Viktor Hammer. As a proximate result of the breach by Defendant as herein alleged, Plaintiff has suffered damages in a sum to be shown at trial, plus interest at the legal rate, and attorney's fees, for a total sum to be shown at the time of trial."

Viktor is accused of "unlawfully trying to seize control of all of the Accounts and assets of the two foundations, Armand Hammer Foundation, Inc., (AHF) and Hammer International Foundation, Inc. (HIF)." Millward's lawyer stated in court documents obtained by The Sun, "Viktor Hammer has no legal authority to put himself in charge of the Accounts or to give himself control or exert directives over the Accounts. At Viktor Hammer's insistence, however, Morgan Stanley has refused to honor Michael Hammer's directive to transfer the Accounts to Misty." She is reportedly seeking access to the money as well as damages.

Armie Hammer's fall from grace

Armie remains an outcast in Hollywood following a series of sexual assault allegations beginning in January 2021. His wife Elizabeth Chambers filed for divorce from the actor in July 2020, six months before he faced a barrage of allegations of affairs, cannibalism, sexual coercion, and brutality. Armie and Elizabeth share two children -- daughter Harper, 7, and son Ford, 5.

Among the messages the disgraced actor sent to women are conversations about extreme cannibalistic urges and sexual bondage. "I want to eat you...I am 100% a cannibal," one message read, while others included disturbing admissions of his desire to eat a woman's ribs and cut off her toes. Furthermore, one woman even accused him of rape. The LAPD led an investigation into the allegations, but Hammer has never been charged. Nonetheless, the scandal proved disastrous for Armie's career, considering he was dropped by the talent agency WME as well as his personal publicist. As reported by the Daily Mail, Armie was replaced in Jennifer Lopez's new rom-com 'Shotgun Wedding' by Josh Duhamel, while Miles Teller took over his role in the TV series 'The Offer'. The embroiled performer was also sued by American Express over an unpaid $67,000 credit card bill, albeit the case was dropped this week.

Armie is currently believed to be residing in the Cayman Islands and selling timeshares. Discovery+ released a three-part docu-series 'House of Hammer' in September, detailing the actor's relationships and family dynasty. The series featured interviews with two of his former girlfriends, namely Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison, as well as members of the Hammer household.
