'Vanderpump Rules' star Ariana Madix attends Coachella 2023 with Scheana Shay amid Raquel Leviss' admission to mental health facility
INDIO, CALIFORNIA: It seems Ariana Madix isn't going to let a minor heartbreak keep her from living her best life. In the wake of her rival Raquel Leviss' admittance to a mental health facility, 'Vanderpump Rules' star Madix made an upbeat appearance on day one of Coachella 2023 on Friday, April 14. Madix, 37, appeared to be putting the turmoil behind her as she put on a busty portrayal at The Oasis Celsius Vibe House party. Madix was left heartbroken when her ex Tom Sandoval's affair with Leviss, 28, was revealed last month.
She also posted a picture of herself kissing fellow 'Vanderpump Rules' star Dayna Kathan on her Instagram Stories. The 'Dead Want Women' actress made an appearance at the music festival only hours later her co-star Leviss checked herself into a mental health center following an affair with Madix's longtime lover, Tom Sandoval, reports Page Six.

Madix is 'thriving' and doing 'amazing'
In her most recent "revenge look," the artist showed off her cleavage in a colorful cut-out shirt with sheer sleeves and a bare tummy. Madix accessorized the outfit with white sneakers, a tan bag, and tinted sunglasses. She wore this with cut-off denim hotpants to show off her toned legs. Although a fan film showed Sandoval in Anaheim, California, it was then revealed that he might have also attended the renowned music festival, reports DailyMail.com.
Madix, who experienced heartbreak following the revelation of Sandoval's affair with co-star Leviss last month, spoke with social media personality Farai Bennett for a TikTok video and assured her fans that she is doing "amazing." She firmly responded "yes" with a smile when Farai, who joined the actor at the CELSIUS Oasis Coachella party on Friday, asked if she was "doing great" and "thriving." Farai stated in a text overlay over the TikTok footage, "Ariana wellness check: She's thriving babes."
Scheana Shay, a co-star and ardent supporter, joined Madix as they walked hand-in-hand with her husband Brock Davies, 31. Scheana, who has refuted Leviss' allegations that she punched her in the face, dazzled in a white crocheted bikini top and matching bottoms.
Raquel's journey toward better mental health
The former beauty pageant winner's representative told Page Six on Friday that Raquel and her family determined she required mental health care months before the affair was revealed, and they ultimately decided she would enroll in a voluntary center for mental health counseling. "Raquel was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment." According to the representative, Bravo and the production team "were aware" of the situation and are "in support of her journey towards better mental health."
The infamous split of Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix
After seeing "inappropriate" conversations between the two on Sandoval's phone on March 1, while he was playing with his band in Los Angeles, Madix learned that Sandoval, 40, had been having an affair with Leviss, 28. According to sources who spoke with PEOPLE, "She was completely blindsided by this; devastated doesn't even scratch the surface of how she feels." The sources added, "This is someone she thought she knew; someone she planned to spend the rest of her life with. You can't even put into words that betrayal."
On March 7, Sandoval apologized to Madix on his Instagram post and formally acknowledged that the accusations were true. His first apology, which he made without mentioning Madix, came four days later. The day after, Leviss released a statement of her own, stating, "I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships."
