The duo had been in a relationship for more than a year and reconnected on 'Ex on the Beach: Peak of Love'. The MTV show documented Nicole and Laurel's rocky relationship.
Nicole has since moved on with her new girlfriend and often documented their romance on social media. However, Nicole and Laurel have been speculated to reconcile their relationship while filming 'The Challenge' spin-off. The upcoming season featured romance and tense drama between the ex-couple. In the trailer, Nicole claimed, "Laurel hates my guts because she’s secretly still in love with me."
Nicole and Laurel reportedly hooked up and shared a kiss but Cara Maria Sorbello already sensed the dramatic end of their relationship. She tried to warn Laurel that Nicole could cheat on her and said, "You're going to look back on this and regret the way Nicole's playing you for a fool." However, Laurel was not ready to listen to her co-player and yelled at her.
'The Challenge' star Laurel Stucky slams Nicole Zanatta
Nicole Zanatta and Laurel Stucky brought their relationship drama on social media. Nicole recently took to her Instagram and shared a video featuring a slideshow of photos with her girlfriend. The MTV star took an apparent dig at her ex Laurel Stucky in the caption and wrote, "This is what a healthy relationship looks like."
However, the shade caught the attention of Laurel and she wrote in the now-deleted comment, "Hope you're not secretly cheating on her too." Nicole slammed back at Laurel and replied, "We're doing great & no I'm not Thank you, she doesn't have a tendency to get UNHINGED, or a THIEF... then proceeds to play phone tag."
'The Challenge' star Nicole then explained why she referred to Laurel as a 'thief' and wrote, "a person who steals another person's property, especially by stealth and without using force or violence." The MTV star elaborated, "I was never the type to kiss and tell but you like comparing notes with an ex-fiancé and how old are you."
Nicole Zanatta hooked up with Cara Maria Sorbello
Laurel Stucky parted ways from Nicole Zanatta after she hooked up with Cara Maria Sorbello in 2018. During an episode of 'The Challenge: Vendettas', Nicole explained about the drama, "She knew what I did. It wasn’t a secret. The one hookup that I'm not proud about is with Cara [Maria Sorbello]."
Cara Maria and Laurel were best friends but the friendship soon ended after Nicole was introduced on 'The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions'. Nicole had a crush on Cara but she was not interested in her. Nicole then tried a shot on Laurel which eventually ended the MTV star and Cara's friendship. The viewers witnessed Cara and Nicole's kiss but Nicole insisted that she didn't cheat on Laurel.
Nicole explained, "Me and Laurel broke up before the show. Laurel didn’t know that I was going on it. She found out it the day that I was leaving." She added, "You could say that I went on single and I did exactly me. I'm not ashamed about it. I don’t care."
