'Apology or a roast?' Chris Brown slammed for 'non-apology' to Robert Glasper over Grammys rant
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chris Brown has apologized for several posts on Instagram after losing the Grammy for Best R&B Album to Robert Glasper. Brown posted a screenshot of his own direct message to Glasper, which read, "Congratulations my brother… I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean.”
“After doing my research I actually think you’re amazing… the organization isn’t doing us Blacks our due diligence. You and I should never be in the same category… two totally different vibes and genres. So from one Black man to another, congratulations. Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G," Brown added.

If y’all have questions, I have answers. Check out my stories to play along!” He then wrote, "I gotta get my skills up… ima start playing the harmonica," going to to post a TikTok flaunting bis achievements. Towards the end of the video, one could see a Google search of Glasper with a voice saying, "Who the fu** is this?”
'It’s not even apology'
Social media users are unhappy with the apology, with one saying, "Chris Brown said “Who the fu** is Robert Glasper!?” And then turned around in his apology and said “I apologize IF YOU TOOK OFFENSE” Excuse me? Who tf taught these ppl how to communicate and hold themselves accountable? It’s giving “I’m sorry you feel that way”. Another wrote, "Is this an apology or a roast?" “I would like to apologize if YOU took offense” is not an apology Chris," one user said.

"It’s not even apology. As usual there’s no accountability and even said they should be in different categories smh," one user wrote, while another said, "Whew, Lord. Chris Brown is 33 years old. There is no excuse for his deeply disrespectful rant yesterday or for this silly little piece of a non-apology. Where are this man’s people?" "Apologizing for your ACTIONS/ WORDS is an apology. “Apologizing” for someone’s potential feelings isn’t an apology," one user said.
