Having starred in some of pop culture's finest, most memorable roles, Antonia Thomas is quite the familiar face when it comes to home entertainment. Today, she plays the bold and outspoken Dr Claire Browne, on the ABC medical drama 'The Good Doctor' that stars Freddie Highmore as its titular lead. We have laughed with Claire and sobbed with her as heartbreak consumed both the character and fans when her almost-boyfriend Nick Melendez succumbed to injuries sustained from a fire. But with the fourth season of the show progressing, Claire found herself an inexplicable source of strength in piecing herself together as she copes with the trauma of losing Nick. The emotions Thomas invokes in the hearts of her viewers isn't surprising considering one of her most famous yet understated appearances happens to be in the music video of the Coldplay song 'Charlie Brown'. And that isn't the only one.

Released in 2011 as part of their fifth studio album, the Coldplay hit is a Grammy-nominated track that used to be quite the stir in its times, the way one would say 'Sleep on the Floor' by The Luminers, or 'All I Want' by Kodaline hits the cool kids now. The song is a trippy, fun, joyride like most Coldplay music and as lead vocalist Chris Martin jumps and croons in what looks like a raid, Thomas is the main muse of the lyric, get seamy, and up, close and personal in the middle of the concert crowd while the music takes over.

Directed by Mat Whitecross and Mark Rowbotham, the original official music video for the song was a bunch of concert clips from the band's 2011 Summer Festival Tour. Two months later, in 2012, a proper music video with a storyline and the likes was released, where Thomas, who was famous at the time for her Misfits' fame, stars opposite 'Shameless' UK star Elliot Tittensor. With 146,083,923 views till now and over 10K thumbs up, it's easy to deduce that while the music video might not have shot up to the heights of 'Paradise' from the same album, it still garnered its fair share of praise.

Following her appearance in the music video, Thomas went on to star in the 2013 film 'Sunshine on Leith'. In 2014, she played the role of Evie in the British rom-com 'Scrotal Recall', which initially aired on channel 4 and later found Netflix fame, spurring another 8-episode second season, that premiered as 'Lovesick' on Netflix in November 2016. But before her journey as Claire began in 2017, Thomas starred in yet another music video in 015, this time for the Stereophonics.

Titled 'C'est La Vie', the opening track on the band's 2015 album 'Keep the Village Alive'. Produced by lead-singer Kelly Jones and Jim Lowe, the song grew to be one of the band's lowest charters in the UK. The video has since been deleted from the band's official YouTube channel. So for now, we shall rest easy with Thomas as Claire, returning this Monday at 10 PM only on ABC.
