As Angelina Jolie hunkered down with her six children to quarantine themselves amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, she has been doing everything she can to keep them happy and safe in isolation.

The 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' star is ensuring she and her kids spend quality time together as they remain indoors during the pandemic, HollywoodLife reports.

And while the 44-year-old Hollywood bombshell is having her children cook and play games together as a family, she is also ensuring they stick to their usual schedules.

Jolie is fortunate to have a big place with lots of room for her kids to be entertained, especially since her eldest son Maddox, 18, is home from college in South Korea.

Angie has all of her six children with Brad Pitt by her side, including son Pax, 16, daughters Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

“This is not a free for all for them. Even though they aren’t going to any classes they are still on a pretty strict schedule during the week. Angelina feels like a routine is important so they still get up at the same time and have their breakfast all together and then it’s time to start their school work,” a source revealed. “They are taking different classes online, so they have learning time and they have assignments to do. She’s very big on them sticking to a set schedule.”

But that doesn't mean the family isn't having fun during the quarantine.

“There’s still lots of downtime and they are making the most of that too. Cooking together, watching movies and playing games. And with Maddox home they are all extra happy, they are cherishing their time with him. He’s so good with them and he’s even been teaching them some basic words in Korean,” the insider continues.

That said, the children are also reportedly spending time with their father Brad during isolation.

“The kids do miss their friends and all their activities, but they’re coping well because they’re such a tight unit. They’re used to having long stretches where they only have each other to play with, so they’re better prepared for this than a lot of kids. And they are very lucky because both Brad and Angelina have huge outdoor spaces, so they are still getting lots of time outside," the source added.

This comes after it was recently claimed that Angelina's children love escaping to and spending time at dad Brad Pitt's place amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to Star Magazine's April 2020 issue.

The magazine also reportedly claimed the 'Maleficent' star's recent behavior had somewhat estranged her from her six children.

One source reportedly told the magazine that Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox consider Brad's home a calm retreat and would like to spend time with him during the coronavirus lockdown.

“The kids still have a lot of fun but he insists they keep up with their studies and knows how important it is that they stay organized and on top of things, since they’re homeschooled. He has them wash dishes and tidy up after themselves. But he joins in with them and makes it enjoyable, with them all helping each other,” the tipster told Star Magazine.

“All the kids go through phases of preferring their mom’s company, then their dad’s. Of course, they love and respect their mom, but now they feel much more settled in the laid-back surrounding of their dad’s house,” the insider continued.

That said, Angelina and Brad have not commented on these reports and we were unable to verify the veracity of these claims.
