Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been legally separated for about three years now and are yet to finalize their divorce.

The stars of 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' sent shockwaves across Hollywood and left fans in disbelief when they announced their split in September 2016 citing irreconcilable differences.

Angelina and Brad did not have a happy ending as a couple but have remained civil with each other for the sake of their children – Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 13, Knox, 11 and Vivienne, 11.

According to International Business Times, Star Magazine's April 2020 issue has claimed that Angelina's children love escaping to and spending time at Brad's place amid the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

The magazine has also claimed the 'Maleficent' star's recent behavior has somewhat estranged her from her six children.

One source reportedly told the magazine that Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox consider Brad's home a calm retreat and would like to spend time with him during the coronavirus lockdown.

“The kids still have a lot of fun but he insists they keep up with their studies and knows how important it is that they stay organized and on top of things, since they’re home schooled. He has them wash dishes and tidy up after themselves. But he joins in with them and makes it enjoyable, with them all helping each other,” the tipster told Star Magazine.

“All the kids go through phases of preferring their mom’s company, then their dad’s. Of course, they love and respect their mom, but now they feel much more settled in the laid-back surrounding of their dad’s house,” the insider continued.

That said, Angelina and Brad have not commented on these reports and we were unable to verify the veracity of these claims.

A recent report by E! claimed that the 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' actress and all her six children were staying in their California home spending quality time with each other. The outlet also noted that they were busy doing productive things while in quarantine.

An insider told the magazine the Jolie-Pitt kids have been “keeping up with their schoolwork, practicing their languages, playing instruments, board games, and helping cook dinner.”

Earlier this week, Jolie herself revealed that her eldest son Maddox was learning new languages while self-isolating with her due to the coronavirus outbreak.

"I could not be happier about Mad‘s choice of university. It is, of course, closed at the moment because of the pandemic. But he's not transferring school," she told DongA Daily, a South Korean outlet. "He‘ll be going back as soon as things settle. He's using the time to focus on his Korean and Russian studies."

During the interview, Jolie confirmed after his university was closed, Maddox was back living with his mum and his other siblings in Los Angeles.

“We are all so happy, as a family, that we will have the opportunity to get to know South Korea even better through Maddox, and with him, during his studies,” Jolie added.
