Andrew Tate's former sponsor warned 'Cobra' of lawyers post house arrest release, here's what he said
BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate appears to have stayed in communication with his former sponsor, Daniel Knight, the founder of Sidekick.
During a recent interview, Knight shared insights into the guidance he provided Tate as he approached the end of his house arrest.
Tate once held a significant role within the Sidekick boxing union, and the support from Sidekick played a pivotal role in elevating his career to become one of the prominent kickboxers.
Daniel Knight told Andrew Tate to not trust 'lawyers'
Tate and his brother found themselves liberated from the constraints of house arrest in August, a measure imposed upon them back in March due to a series of legal charges.
While discussing Tate's legal battle in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Knight, his former sponsor, disclosed the advice he imparted to 'Cobra' shortly before his release from house arrest.
Knight revealed that he had conveyed to Tate that he had experienced a somewhat similar legal situation himself.
He cautioned Tate about placing excessive trust in his legal advisers, to which Tate responded with curiosity, asking for elaboration.
Knight proceeded to explain that essentially, the longer the legal case persisted, especially given Tate's substantial wealth, the more the legal team would likely exploit the situation for their financial gain.
Kinght said, "I've had a sort of a little bit of a legal situation myself.. but be careful trusting your own lawyers."
He added, "He was like, 'What do you mean?' and I sort of said basically the longer this case goes on, he's a wealthy man, I said, the longer this case goes on the more that they're going to be rinsing the money for themselves."
Daniel Knight revealed Andrew Tate can be an 'actor'
Knight, who has a close working relationship with Tate, made additional comments regarding Tate's recent controversies and his online persona during the interview.
He asserted that 'Cobra' primarily engages in these actions for the sake of gaining attention.
Knight expressed his opinion that Tate had the potential to be an actor. He suggested that Tate could thrive in Hollywood, highlighting the disparity between what he conveys on camera and his genuine beliefs.
Knight recalled a time when Tate would intentionally set up a camera in his room and passionately discuss various topics for the sole purpose of attracting views.
Knight said, "I think he can be like an actor. To be honest I think he should be in Hollywood. What he says on camera doesn't mean what he [believes] in person."
He added, "If you bring it back, he literally used to set up a camera in his own room and start ranting about [topics] for views."
