Andrew Tate visits court for house arrest appeal, gears up for possible ninth-month detention, trolls say 'Tristan's walking like he’s on runway'
BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate recently took center stage in Bucharest, fervently seeking to overturn a judge's ruling that had bound them to the confines of house arrest. Andrew didn't hold back as he took to Twitter to provide his followers with real-time updates on the appeal. The Tate brothers are now all set to find out if their house arrest will continue, making this their 9th month.
The court had previously dealt them a harsh blow, ordering the Tate brothers to serve an additional 30 days of house arrest. The saga that unraveled in December had thrust them into the eye of a storm. For the unversed, the Tate brothers were accused of assault, human trafficking, and their alleged involvement in organized crime, eventually leading to their house arrest in late March.
'I shouldn’t go back to jail'
The Tate brothers' court appearance at the Court of Appeal in Bucharest was prompted by formal charges of rape, human trafficking, and involvement in a criminal gang, with the alleged aim of exploiting women. This legal saga unfolded in June, casting a shadow of uncertainty over their lives. Adding to the complexity of the situation, Tristan, along with two Romanian women, faced charges specifically related to human trafficking. Since Andrew's arrest on December 29 in Bucharest, he vehemently denied all allegations, but his attempts to challenge his house arrest through a series of appeals had been unsuccessful thus far.
In a bid to overturn his detention, Andrew seeks a glimmer of hope in the Court of Appeal, aiming for a favorable decision on Wednesday, August 2. According to Daily Mail, the fate of this high-profile case will not be revealed until August 4, as indicated by the statement from Andrew's spokesperson.
In a tweet, Andrew shared his current situation, revealing that he was present at the Bucharest court of appeal, anxiously awaiting to discover whether he would face prolonged detention for a ninth month. Andrew wrote, "I am in the Bucharest court of appeal to find out if I will be detained for a 9th month. 3 months in jail, 6 months locked in my house. Now I must convince a judge that I shouldn’t go back to jail. That I’m allowed to remain in my own home. Allah is the best of planners."
