Tate shared an old video which captured a moment during a ceremony when Russian President Vladimir Putin seemed to "snub" Macron.

Tate has admired for Putin through a number of interviews and social media posts. He even dubbed Putin as the figure who triumphed over Covid-19.
According to Tate, Russia's intervention in Ukraine played a role in overcoming the Covid crisis. The aforementioned video allowed Tate to appreciate his role model while playfully mocking Macron.

Tate responded to the video by commending Putin's actions and calling him, 'Top P', drawing parallels with his moniker, 'Top G'.
