BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate, a controversial figure with a substantial Twitter following of over 7 million, is currently facing house arrest in Romania. He has been involved in recent allegations, including charges of rape, human trafficking, and money laundering. Despite his legal situation, he continues to be active on Twitter, sharing his thoughts on various topics across social media platforms.

Recently, Top G had lots to say about the life of gamers and how they are not really "working." In a viral YouTube video, Tate participated in a Rumble livestream with a fellow streamer who is known for his Fortnite gaming skills and has a dedicated fan base. While Tate acknowledged the streamer's gaming prowess and offered his appreciation, he also expressed his views on those who choose to pursue a career in the gaming industry.

‘Work is not doing the thing that people do for fun’

In the video, Tate and the Fortnite player engaged in a heated discussion about the gaming life. Tate criticized the player, referring to him and others as "spoiled brats" due to their young age and wealth from doing what he considered was more fun than work. “You are spoiled brats and you're spoiled because you're fucking rich at a young age doing the funnest job in the fucking world.”

The Fortnite player defended himself, claiming that he worked hard for his success, saying, “I worked for it though.” However, Tate disagreed and stating, “Yeah, of course, you work for 14 hours a day working, doing what everyone wants to do. That's not work. Work is doing what people don't want to do. Work is not doing the thing that people do for fun in their spare time regardless of how good you are at it. That's not work.”

Tate provided an analogy to clarify his point, mentioning a tennis player who loves tennis and is exceptional at it, “He's an athlete. He loves tennis. He's always loved tennis. Everyone loves tennis and he's the best at it. You love the video game and you're good at it. Good. Congratulations. But you are a spoiled brat. You do not understand the realities of the world financially.” Tate emphasized that gamers may gain social status and recognition in their online world, but then he explained that they had no true understanding of how life worked. “You do not understand the realities of the world socially and now you have a whole bunch of social status that you've worked for and to gain it, all you have to do is play a video game where there's basically zero real world risk.”

'Dropping the gems as always'

After watching the video of Andrew Tate, fans flocked to the comment section. One fan said, "I love how tate can just say everything I’m thinking and turn it into words😂." Another fan said, "The boy took his scolding and didnt interrupt. I really respect people like this because It's rare to see this level of emotional maturity nowadays." One YouTuber said, "Yo at least he didn't try to argue with Tate, he actually listened." Another YouTuber wrote, "Dropping the gems as always the top G." The last user wrote, "A job should be something you love and have no regrets for."
