‘It was in the early stages of the internet’
In a candid interview with Candace Owens, the American political commentator, Tate opened up about his involvement in the webcam industry. During the discussion, Tate admitted to running a webcam business and strongly asserted that he never harmed or coerced any women into working with him. He claimed, "There was a webcam company. And I've talked about it at length on many different podcasts. I had a business. Many girls on there were perfectly fully clothed. They would paint pictures or sing, and dance, and laugh. I've talked about this at length. I've had nothing to do with it for 10 or 11 years. And nobody was ever hurt. And I am not sorry for it. I don't see why I should be."
During his conversation with Owens, Tate elaborated further on his previous webcam business. He said, "I stopped having any involvement with it; I think 8 to 9 years ago, I stopped. It was a long time ago. It was in the early stages of the internet. And I'll explain it one more time to people. I've explained it already, at length, but I'll explain it from the beginning."
He also shared about how he helped women to make ‘money’, "I helped the girls set up accounts. We worked together. I helped them become as popular as possible.” Furthermore, Tate made a bold declaration that their time in the webcam business was highly successful, and he emphasized that "nobody was upset." He said, "And everybody made money, and everybody was happy. And nobody is complaining about it. Nobody is upset about it. None of the girls that worked for me are upset about it."
'An amazing role model'
Millions of Tate's fans were enlightened about the intricate details of his webcam experience after acknowledging the video. One user said, “An amazing role model.” Another user wrote, “F*****g opened my eyes, Man, that’s bottom G.” One person wrote, “This is the only comment section where people don’t constantly fanboy over Tate. Even if he’s unlawfully prisoned he’s still a hypocritical bag of a guy and I honestly don’t understand why everyone likes him.” Another fan said, “I mean technically the girl did have a right to call the cops since she was living there for more than 30 days and he kicked her out without a 30 days notice. but the fact that Tate felt the need to flush his phone says all you need to hear."
