BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Controversial misogynist and social media influencer Andrew Tate aka Cobra has remarked on the recent sexual assault allegations against UFC star Conor McGregor. Tate is currently under house arrest and dealing with his own legal issues. However, the former professional kickboxer has shown his support for the UFC superstar on Twitter. 

After being accused of sexual assault by an unnamed woman at Game 4 of the NBA Finals on June 9, 2023, at the Kaseya Centre in Miami, Florida, the former two-division UFC champion has found himself at the center of significant controversy. Let's take a look at what Tate said about McGregor.

Tate suggested that fake sexual charges against affluent people had grown more common by drawing comparisons between his own legal issues and his alleged involvement in human trafficking. Tate tweeted, "Human trafficker." after retweeting a post by Bleacher Report. In a second statement, he wrote, "No men with money are safe. They’re coming for all of us."

His comments sparked an exchange of thoughts on McGregor's case, which in turn sparked a variety of viewpoints on social media from fans and users. A user wrote, "No. It is you. Definitely there is different definition between both of them (r***** and human trafficker)." Second user wrote, "Dude - i feel that. I have a horror story of my NSA supervisor who pressured me for months until she had authority… it’s unlike anything anyone has ever heard." What are the allegations against Conor McGregor?

On June 9 at the Kaseya Centre in Florida, during Game 4 of the NBA finals, McGregor allegedly assaulted a woman in the men's bathroom. McGregor performed a stunt in which he hit a Heat mascot while promoting his Tidl Sports recovery spray. According to demand letters acquired by TMZ from South Florida-based attorney Ariel Mitchell, the security also helped McGregor with the alleged crime.

According to the claims against McGregor, it is stated that Miami Heat and NBA security staff escorted the woman involved away by her friend. She was then allegedly directed into a men's restroom, where McGregor is accused of coercing her into engaging in non-consensual oral sex.
