Andrew Tate arrest: Why did former kickboxer relocate to Romania? Does he own casinos with mafia?
Andrew Tate, a controversial figure known for his self-proclaimed misogynistic views, is currently under house arrest in Romania. In December of last year, both Tate, also known as 'Cobra', and his brother Tristan were apprehended on suspicion of rape, human trafficking, and conspiring to establish a criminal organization. Tate relocated to Romania, with the expectation of finding a sanctuary.
In recent times, there have been rumors surrounding Tate's alleged involvement in casinos in partnership with the Romanian mafia. As a former professional kickboxer and a prominent presence on social media, Tate has been no stranger to controversy, and this particular claim has attracted significant attention.

Andrew Tate, a self-proclaimed misogynist online influencer and former kickboxer, is currently facing an investigation on suspicion of human trafficking. Despite previously claiming that Romania was a corrupt haven, his lawyer, Eugen Vidineac, now claims that Tate has changed his perception following his arrest in the country. Tate has previously explained his relocation to Romania, citing his desire to reside in a country where "corruption is accessible to everybody."

Previously, Tate frequently expressed enthusiasm for the perceived freedom and accessibility to corruption in Romania. However, in a now-removed YouTube video, in which he stated "I'm not a f**king rapist," Tate expressed the desire to be free and be able to do what he wants. Furthermore, his lawyer has distanced himself from Tate's previous claims of being targeted by a vague conspiracy to silence him.
As the investigation into the allegations of human trafficking continues, Tate's lawyer's statement marks a shift in his client's perception of Romania's corrupt reputation. In December, he and his brother were arrested and are currently under house arrest pending trial, maintaining their innocence. The Romanian government extended the duration of the house arrest of the Tate brothers until the end of June.

'We own half of these places'
In a video titled 'Tate Confidential', which has since been removed, Andrew Tate and his brother were filmed entering a casino in Romania that appeared to be affiliated with the Las Vegas Games chain in Romania. In the video, they openly stated, "Because we own half of these places, we get half our money back." This revelation sparked interest and speculation regarding Andrew Tate's alleged involvement in the casino industry.
However, an investigation conducted by The Guardian has found little substantial evidence to support Tate's claims of owning casinos in Romania, apart from a tenuous historical connection to a chain primarily focused on arcade gaming machines. The investigation suggests that Las Vegas Games has been under the ownership of an Armenian group since 2018, casting doubt on the assertions made by the Tate brothers about their collaboration with well-known brands in the country's casino sector.
Although the now-deleted video offers intriguing glimpses of the Tate brothers' interaction with a casino in Romania, the lack of concrete evidence raises questions about Andrew Tate's actual ownership of casinos. Further scrutiny is required to uncover the truth behind these claims and ascertain the extent of Andrew Tate's involvement in the Romanian casino industry.
