A Napa Valley-based wine brand has created quite the stir with their sparkling rosé, but for reasons other than the wine itself. Called 'Just The Tipsy', the wine has been strategically bottled in an anatomically accurate glass penis. 'Just The Tipsy' launched their NSFW penis-shaped bottles in June 2021, primarily targetting bachelorette parties and girls' nights. They manufacture sparkling rosé Seurat and each bottle is priced at $37.

Speaking about the bizarre idea, company CEO Matthew Shore reveals, "We were a couple of dads at a park, watching our kids on the playground, talking about the ridiculous number of bachelorette parties our wives had attended, and the incredible amount of penis tattoos, penis cups, penis straws, penis everything that was involved. That’s when the words that would change our lives were spoken: 'What if the champagne bottles were shaped like a penis??"

Despite initial ridicule from Napa Valley winemakers, Shore eventually got many onboard to go ahead with the idea of rosé bottled in a penis. "We definitely had plenty of 'Are you serious? Is this a joke?' reactions, but then as we explained what we were going for, it's all been really positive. People like the idea, they find it funny. ... We've definitely had a few folks say it's not for them and they don’t want to be involved in any part of the process, but less often that's the reaction," Shore shared.

There have also been questions around the real-life inspiration for the genitalia after which the bottle is modeled. Addressing the same, Matthew Shore said, "I can neither confirm nor deny who the model(s) may have been, but we made sure to go through many rounds of design to make sure it came out perfect."

The brand markets its product with, as you guessed it, the quintessential penis jokes and memes. Starting from 'Size Matters' to 'Finish Me Off', the brand taglines are mostly sexually suggestive and borderline NSFW. Nevertheless, the product appears to have developed a steady customer base, especially among Canadians, who have incessantly inquired about shipping details to Canada.

Coming to the flavor, it has been described as 'fairly simple', with a dry, crisp undertone and a long finish. However, the company has declined to name the winemakers associated with them to protect their privacy.
