The Bachelorette Season 15: Release date, plot, cast, trailer, news and everything else about the ABC show
'The Bachelorette' is still shooting. But here is everything we know about the season with Hannah Brown as the bachelorette
Now that Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph's romance is blooming, the attention has shifted from 'The Bachelor' to Hannah Brown -- the next bachelorette for upcoming season 15 of 'The Bachelorette'.
Ever since it was announced that 24-year-old Brown will be the next 'The Bachelorette,' fans have been divided whether she is the right choice or someone else would have been better. While a few claimed the producers made a bad choice selecting Brown since she wasn't among the final three contestants, some were glad with the choice.
While we do not have much information about 'The Bachelorette' since it's still being shot, here is everything we know about the season so far.
'The Bachelorette' season 15 will premiere on ABC on May 13.
The reality TV dating show, a spin-off of 'The Bachelor', first premiered in 2003. Following the same rules as The Bachelor,' the series revolves around a bachelorette who is usually a contestant from the previous season of 'The Bachelor'. 'The Bachelorette' meets around 30 romantic interests, among whom she looks for a potential husband. The bachelorette goes on group dates and solo dates with the contestants, and in the end two contestants make it to the rose ceremony. The final two contestants propose to 'The Bachelorette' and it is upto her to choose either of them or none.
Brown came in 7th during 'The Bachelor' season 23. She is an interior designer who was born and brought up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Brown is mostly known for the tiff she had with 'Bachelor' contestant Caelynn Keyes. Brown is also a pageant queen who won Miss Alabama USA in 2018. Though we saw quite a bit of Brown during 'The Bachelor', the season teases that we will get to see more of her in 'The Bachelorette.'
During the finale of 'The Bachelor' season 23 when Chris Harrison revealed that Brown is the bachelorette this season, we also got to witness five out of her possible 30 contestants —Luke P, Luke S, Dustin, Cam, and Conner. Out of the five contestants, one contestant also received the first impression rose from Brown. The series is being secretive with their contestants this season. They released a list of the possible contestants but have not confirmed the final ones till date. But what we know that there are a lot of guys with the same names. We have two Lukes and three Matts to date. So there is a high chance we will get confused when the series premieres.

He started off by being the host of The Bachelor since 2002, followed by the spin-offs The Bachelorette (2003), Bachelor Pad (2010 to 2012), Bachelor in Paradise (2014), the first season of Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise (2015), Bachelor Live (2016), and The Bachelor Winter Games (2018). Harrison was also the host of the syndicated version of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'.
Apart from appearing on the reality TV dating show series, Harrison also appeared in 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch', as a music show host, in the episode "Ping, Ping a Song" in 2002.
Though usually there are just around 30 contestants who battle it out for the heart of 'The Bachelorette,' the series revealed that this season there will be 33 contestants battling it out for Brown's heart. But recently it was revealed that two contestants were removed due to their bad press. According to Reality Steve, two contestants, Matt Dione and Joe Romeo, were sent back home so that the series can avoid any controversy this season.
The series recently released the first teaser for the season. The teaser reveals that Brown is leaving her beauty queen title behind and is ready to find her true love. Her promo gives out a fairy tale vibe. Dressed up in a blue jumpsuit with a tule skirt accessorized with a crown, the teaser showcases Brown as she walks through the woods slowly dismantling her beauty queen look. One thing is for sure, it is not the same Brown we saw during 'The Bachelor' but it seems to fit her.
