Elon Musk trolled by liberals for accusing govt of 'ordering' Twitter to censor Hunter Biden scandal

As per Elon Musk's tweet, suppression of free speech took place during Biden govt; the year he was referring to was 2020, when Donald Trump was POTUS

The tweet comes amidst Musk exposing the pieces of evidence of the Hunter Biden scandal. Though Musk's tweet indicates the suppression of free speech that happened under the Biden government, the timeline he was referring to was 2020 when the government was still under Donald Trump.

According to TRT World, A thread of tweets from Matt Taibi was retweeted by Musk. In one of the tweets shared by Matt Taibbi, it indicates, "Some of the first tools for controlling speech were designed to combat the likes of spam and financial fraudsters. Slowly, over time, Twitter staff and executives began to find more and more uses for these tools. Outsiders began petitioning the company to manipulate speech as well: first a little, then more often, then constantly. "

In another tweet, he stated, "By 2020, requests from connected actors to delete tweets were routine. One executive would write to another: 'More to review from the Biden team.' The reply would come back: "Handled." The timeline indicated in this tweet was the year 2020 and in 2020, it was Trump who was the POTUS and not Biden.

The Internet quickly reacted to the tweet of Musk. Famous author, Grant Stern tweeted, "10000% not this. The First Amendment gives free speech to the people, and restrains censorship ***by the government*** and Joe Biden was not in the government in 2020." One user tweeted, "Oh @elonmusk has it, it is just against TFG instead of Biden. trump was president in 2020, and was having twitter remove posts, that was actual First Amendment Violations! But Elon doesn't care about that!  Hypocrite!" 

Another user stated, "Elon Musk is either too slow to understand that Biden was not president in 2020 or believes his fanboys are too slow to know he's desperate for cash and playing them." A user claimed, "The President in 2020, quit smoking weed and tweeting Elon." "Elon Musk failed again? That’s surprising! ," read a tweet. Another added, "Nothing about Musk ends up being what he hypes himself to be." A tweet read, "It's fact.. almost nothing new was learned in the thread. All known info." A tweet claimed, "This is clearly the way a person next after they’ve been up for a week smoking meth."
