'American Ninja Warrior' Season 12: Why was the show's airtime changed again? Fans say it's 'hard to keep up'
'American Ninja Warrior' Season 12 was moved to a different air day after changing its air time a few times to accommodate a couple of football games. The competition series' next episode will now air on October 21, Wednesday at 9/8c. The network has decided to move to the said day for the rest of the season to accommodate 'The Voice,' reported americanninjawarriornation.com.
Meanwhile, fans are not too thrilled about the network moving the show this many times.
"They keep changing the days and times -- very hard to keep up!! But I'm trying!!!" a fan commented on the show's Facebook page, while another shared: "Pls move it back to Monday!"
"Dang it guys! I am a huge Amazing Race fan, also. You make it very hard, since you are on at the same time, for the first hour. I love both shows! Now, I'll have to agonize about who to watch," a viewer tweeted.

When 'American Ninja Warrior' returns on Wednesday with the second semi-final episode, the viewers will get a glimpse of how Amir Malik cruises through the obstacle race. Although the clip only shows him finishing the eighth hurdle successfully, from the looks of it, he may have finished the entire race.
Who is Amir?
He's a baker from Vermont and has been part of the only ninja group to have all of the members hit the buzzer (the athletes are able to access the buzzer once they've climbed the warped wall, the final hurdle).
This year a total of 150 competitors participated in the 4-part qualifiers. From the semi-final rounds, the showrunners intend on sieving the top 12 contenders and two female athletes who will move to the finale.
Jake Murray, Daniel Gil, Cameron Baumgartner, Tyler Gillett, Adam Rayl, Jackson Twait, Jody Avila, Donovan Metoyer, Jon Alexis Jr, Flip Rodriguez, Chris DiGangi, Jamie Rahn, Jesse Labreck, and Sandy Zimmerman, are among the 14 participants who are now in finals. Will Amir join them? Time will tell.
In other news, NBC is big on safety guidelines issued by the state and therefore has taken apt measures to ensure that the cast and crew of the show are protected against the pandemic. The families and friends of each of the participating athletes usually gather at the arena but this time they were available to root for their loved ones from the comfort of their homes via a television screen.
