LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS: 'American Idol' Season 21 will return on March 26 with its last rounds of auditions. A lot of skilled performers left their mark on the viewers and judges, and took us on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Some singers, including Kayleigh Clark, Olivia Soli and Kaylin Hedges impressed everyone and advanced to Hollywood week. Now, viewers are eagerly waiting to know who else will win a golden or platinum ticket to Hollywood.
Throughout the previous weeks, we witnessed some truly emotional moments where even judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan were unable to hold back their tears. In the upcoming episode of 'American idol', a fresh set of young singers will sing their hearts out in order to advance to the next round. One young singer who will perform in the upcoming auditions is Sierra Harris, who hails from a family of musicians and dancers. Who is Sierra Harris?
The young 'American idol' contestant is from Lexington and has five sisters, who are all performers in their own right. Sierra belongs to family of musicians and has been on stage for more than half of her life. Her mother, Lynne, reportedly revealed that Sierra could hit high notes naturally and always had great potential. She bagged her first major role in a summer talent show in Point Sebago, Maine, by accident. She was first rejected for the role of Annie but later got the role as the girl selected to play the role got stage fright. She is a former ice hockey player and has always loved to showcase her talent in front of hundreds of people.
For several years, Sierra continued to appear in every summer theatre production in Point Sebago, frequently with her sisters and, on a few occasions, with her mother and then her father. She has also received the honor to sing the National Anthem at her school games. Interestingly, this is not the first time Sierra has tried out for 'American idol'. She first auditioned for the show when she was 15 and has been trying to get a golden ticket every year since 2018. Sierra has been quite active on Social Media and finally, a casting agent recognized her raw talent and she got the opportunity to perform in front of the judges.

Being on 'American idol' is a very big opportunity for Sierra's career and she has been dreaming of being a part of this show since she was a young girl. Sierra has auditioned for 'American Idol' several times before this, but she will be performing live before the judges for the first time.
For her audition, Sierra chose one of her favorite songs from the band 'Clockwork'. In a brief preview of her audition clip, Perry asks Sierra to sing 'Firework' and is seen throwing something at her at the end of her performance.
