The already blockbuster ongoing trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard in a Virginia court got more interesting when Kate Moss testified in court, suggesting that the 36-year-old actress is a liar. Heard had previously told the court about an alleged incident when Depp tried to push her sister down the stairs. At the time she also mentioned a rumor she heard that the 58-year-old actor had allegedly done the same with Moss while the two were in a relationship.

But the British model appeared virtually in the court on Wednesday, May 25, as a rebuttal witness on behalf of Depp. During the court proceedings, she recalled an incident that happened in Jamaica while she and the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star were leaving a room following a rainstorm. She said, “I slid down the stairs and hurt my back and I screamed because I didn't know what happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical care,” before adding: “He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs.”

Moss’ testimony reportedly gave a moment of celebration to Depp and his legal team but it left the ‘Aquaman’ actress furious, who then said, “I know how many people will come out of the woodwork to be in support of Johnny. It's clear by this courtroom how many people will do that. Everybody who was around in the 90s and the early aughts knew that rumor. I had heard that rumor from multiple people.

“Of course, that's what flashed through my head when my violent husband not only swung for me, but all of a sudden, swung for my sister. Of course I thought of that. I didn't expect her to show up or not to show up, it doesn't matter. It doesn't change what I believed at the time when we were on the stairs and I thought he was going to kill my sister by pushing her down the stairs.”

Taking a dig at Moss, Heard also reportedly added: “I know how many people will come out in support of him... I know how many people will come out and say whatever for him. That's his power. That's why I wrote the op-ed, I was speaking to that phenomenon, how many people will come out in support of him and fall to his power. He is a very powerful man and people love currying favor with powerful men. And I know that first-hand, I've lived it. I have seen people do this time and time again, that's why I wrote the op-ed.”

‘The Rum Diary’ actress’ apparent stinky statement has not been taken well by people online with many reminding her that the 48-year-old businesswoman doesn’t need anything to be famous, she already is an icon. A user tweeted, “#AmberHeard said that #KateMoss came out of the woodwork to testify for #JohnnyDepp … Amber, we didn’t even know your face before this trial. Please, you’re the only one who is looking for fame. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp.” The second one wrote: “I'm not sure how Kate Moss comes out of the woodwork for JD. She was one of the hottest & most famous supermodels for many years. And a really nice woman with it.”

A person shared, “Kate Moss has never been in the woodwork nor needed to come out of it. KM is a supermodel, fashion icon & businesswoman.” Another critic of Heard stated: “The fact that a no-name actress such as Ms. Turd talking about Kate Moss who is one of the most notable models in HISTORY that way and saying ‘comes out of the woodwork’ about her is SERIOUSLY appalling and disgusting. #JusticeForJohhnyDepp #amberheardvsjohnnydepp.” “It still makes me cackle that AH actually said that Kate Moss came out of the woodwork. Kate Moss is more iconic than that girl could ever hope to be. Period,” a tweet read.
