Amber Heard grins from ear to ear during outing with daughter Oonagh Paige after leaving Hollywood
MADRID, SPAIN: Amber Heard was recently spotted wholeheartedly embracing her mommy duties as she spent quality time with her daughter at a park in Madrid after reportedly quitting Hollywood in favor of starting a new life in Spain. The 37-year-old 'Rum Diary’ actress pushed a scooter while holding two-year-old, Oonagh Paige, in one of her arms as she headed to the park on Sunday, May 7.
Heard's little bundle of joy was wearing a bright pink T-shirt with a pair of matching shoes and blue-and-white striped dungarees. Her light blond hair was in pigtails. The ‘Aquaman’ actress was in an all-black outfit that included a crop top, which effortlessly showed off her toned midriff. She carried a large blue backpack over her left shoulder and wore similar sets of form-fitting leggings and sports sneakers. Heard accessorized her look with sunglasses that were placed over her forehead and had her blonde locks pulled back into a long ponytail, as per Page Six.

Why did Amber Heard move to Spain?
The mother-daughter duo’s latest outing came after Heard moved to the Spanish capital, ending her Hollywood career in the wake of her ex-husband Johnny Depp's mostly successful defamation trial against her in Virginia in 2022, as reported by the Daily Mail. “She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise,” a friend of Heard told the outlet. The friend also disclosed that Heard would eventually go back to Hollywood. "I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project,” the friend added.
After selling her Yucca Valley, California house for $1.1M, Heard is currently living in a home just outside Madrid with her daughter, whom she welcomed via surrogacy in April 2021. She announced Oonagh’s birth through an Instagram post with the caption, "I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib." The actress spent most of her time in Spain in the months after the much-publicized defamation case.
What happened between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp?
The case began in March 2019 when the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean' actor sued Heard for $50M for defaming him in a December 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she detailed being abused by an unnamed partner. Heard then countersued Depp for $100M the following year. The widely reported legal dispute went to trial in the spring of 2022, and the jury finally ruled in Depp's favor. Heard was sentenced to pay her ex-husband $10.35M, while he was ordered to pay her $2M for his attorney's defamatory statement against her.
