Amanda Bynes was roaming around naked
The actress was placed on psychiatric hold after she was found roaming the streets of Los Angeles naked and alone on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Amanda stopped a car while completely naked and told the driver she was coming down from a psychotic episode, according to a report by TMZ. After that, she called 911 by herself and was taken to a nearby police station, where a mental health expert determined she needed to be placed on a 5150 psych hold. The star, who is suffering from bipolar disorder, reportedly remains in a facility’s care. A 5150 hold typically lasts 72 hours but can be extended based on a patient’s need. The episode took place nearly one year after she was freed from her formal eight-year conservatorship.
Amanda Bynes will not be put into another conservatorship
Even after her recent bipolar episode, Amanda's parents Lynn and Rick Bynes have said that they are not considering her recent episode as a reason to put her into another conservatorship. However, they still acknowledge the fact that they are worried about her condition. Bynes' parents are extremely concerned about their daughter's well-being and health but another conservatorship is certainly not on their cards now.
