LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Sunday, March 19, actress Amanda Bynes was found naked, roaming around alone on the streets of Los Angeles, after she was apparently coming down from a psychotic episode. Now, parents of the Nickelodeon alum, Lynn and Rick, have said that they are not considering her recent episode as a reason to put her into another conservatorship.

However, they still acknowledge the fact that they are worried about her condition. According to a source cited by TMZ, Bynes' parents are extremely concerned about their daughter's well-being and health but another conservatorship is certainly not on their cards now.

Where is Amanda Bynes now?

Bynes had been living independently in her own house and had been taking cosmetology classes and everything seemed to be fine until Sunday when the incident occurred. The outlet reported that her parents are also taking comfort in the fact that the 36-year-old was self-aware enough to recognize she was in trouble. Bynes called 911 by herself and was taken to a nearby police station, where a mental health expert determined she needed to be placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. Normally 5150 holds last only 72 hours, but they can be extended.

Amanda Bynes was placed under conservatorship

The actress was in conservatorship for almost a decade since 2013 while her parents kept track of her finances and herself. At that time, he also claimed that her father had been abusive to her during childhood. Earlier, Bynes suddenly announced her retirement from acting in 2010 when she was just 24. She tweeted, "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem, If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it. I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first." "I've #retired," Bynes concluded.
