As per The US Sun, the alleged victim stated, "He hit me over the head two or three times. My knee collapsed as well. He’s making out it was one of his entourage but it was him. Chris Brown’s history of assault
The 'Breezy' hitmaker has had multiple run-ins with the law, including the 2009 attack on Rihanna, his then-girlfriend, which left her with serious face damage. As stated in Grazia, the night before the Grammy Awards, Brown assaulted Rihanna in a Lamborghini, who was then his girlfriend. The latter's photo, which showed bruising on her face, a black eye, and a cracked lip, went viral online. The 33-year-old 'With You' singer has provided context for the image in a recent documentary.
While Brown's legal issues are most well-known for the domestic violence incident he had with Rihanna, he has faced numerous other charges over the years, including two counts of illegal possession of a prohibited species, a capuchin monkey, in December 2018. According to People, Brown's legal problems have occasionally prevented him from performing in specific countries.
In 2012, Brown was involved in a New York City nightclub brawl. Clashes with Frank Ocean in 2013, getting arrested for felony assault again in 2013, entering a rehab facility, getting kicked out of a Malibu treatment facility in 2014, being pleaded guilty to assault in 2014 again, Brown allegedly hitting a man in Las Vegas in 2015, and being detained in the Philippines in 2015 - are some of the legal issues associated with the 'Superhero' singer.
