A friend who was FaceTiming with Rob Kardashian saw Blac Chyna hold a gun to Rob's head, the jury was told on the second day of the Chyna vs Kardashians trial in Los Angeles. This claim was made by the Kardashian family's lawyer, Michael Rhodes, who told the jury that there will be evidence during the trial that the friend 'saw Chyna put a gun to his head' but the attorney said he didn't know if the gun was loaded.

Blac Chyna, born Angela White filed a lawsuit against the entire Kardashian's family - including her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian, his sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and his mom Kris Jenner in the year 2017. Chyna alleged that the family was responsible for derailing her reality television show career. Simultaneously, Chyna is also suing Rob for assault, battery, and harassment. As a result, Chyna is seeking upwards of $108 million in damages.

'Evidence will show that Miss White wanted something - she wanted to be one of them (the Kardashians),' said Rhodes who refused to call the reality star Blac Chyna because 'that's a stage name and this is not a stage - this is a courtroom.' The attorney said that during the December 14 attack that Chyna denies, 'there is no doubt that she got physical with Mr. (Rob) Kardashian' and also put a phone cord around his neck and pulled. Rhodes alleged that Chyna was 'screaming and yelling' smashed a TV and Kris Jenner's boyfriend, Corey Gamble, had to physically get between the couple and tell Rob to 'get your car keys and get out of here.' Rhodes pointed out that Chyna 'has no contract' with the Kardashians. 'Her contracts are all with E!.' But as paid executive producers of Rob and Chyna, Kris and her daughters, canceling the show cost them money as well.

Chyna's attorney, Lynne Ciani, told the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday 'The four Kardashians had a family vote to cancel Season 2 of Rob and Chyna but nobody told Chyna, who thought her show was still very much alive.' Ciani claimed that Kris Jenner threatened E! and its part company NBC Universal, that she 'would pull Keeping Up with the Kardashians if they didn't kill off Rob and Chyna'. She also said that on the night of the alleged attack (cord incident), Rob and Chyna were still together and were celebrating the green lighting of their show for a second season. Also, Chyna testified she knew Rob had an unloaded gun in the home. And at one point on that same night, Rob was on a video call and Chyna picked up the unloaded gun in the background of his FaceTime. However, Chyna denied pointing the gun at him.

At the court, Chyna's lawyer recounted the TV star's humble beginnings growing up poor and turning to stripping before she got her big break when Drake mentioned her in a song after he came into the club she was working at. Ciani began her opening statement to the jury by agreeing with the Kardashians' lawyer Rhodes that both their clients come from the same world of reality TV. But outside of reality television, the worlds of Chyna and TV's most famous family are 'very different,' she said.

Chyna's mother, Tokyo Toni, was ordered to stay away from her daughter's courtroom battle after making 'veiled physical threats' at the Kardashian family in an online attack. Michael Rhodes, who is representing the Kardashians at the trial called for her mother to be banned from the courtroom. 'A trial like this is hard - it's a lot harder if I have to worry about my clients' safety,' he added. Ciani in response told the court, 'I have told my client that if she cannot control her mother if she says something inappropriate, she cannot come into the courtroom.' Chyna's mother did not show up at court.

When Rhodes asked the jury-to-be if they had any biased feelings towards or against the family, a man reportedly in his 50s/60s spoke up from the jury stand and said that though he had never watched Keeping Up with the Kardashian, 'I have watched Kardashian’s sex tape, and I don’t think I can be impartial on this case.' After a break, the same prospective juror volunteered: 'I'm going to be playing that sex tape in my head and possibly not listening too closely....' The Kardashians cast did look visibly displeased by the man's comments.

In a previous lawsuit, Rob filed a declaration in 2020 regarding both the cord and gun incidents, saying he 'feared for my life' when she 'pointed a gun at me in our home' and during other alleged incidents. 'I believed that she could kill me… that she could slip up and shoot me accidentally,' he said. 'Moreover, I am well-aware of Chyna's tendency to act violently toward me and others… further causing me to fear for my life'. He dismissed the lawsuit in February 2022.

At the time the declaration was filed, Chyna's attorney told E! News there was 'no violent attack' against Rob.
