'AGT' Season 18 contestant John Wines gets all four 'Yes' from the judges

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: We all expect the first performance of any competition show to be out-of-the-box. Fulfilling the expectation, 'AGT' Season 18's Audition Part 3's first performance took everyone by shock. John Wines, a 59-year-old music teacher was not expected to be a rock star on the stage. 

John was "a little bit" nervous when he hit 'AGT's stage. As he took the guitar in his hands, there came a shrill voice from it. It made the audience shut their ear, believing that the musician could not do many wonders. To everyone's astonishment, the opposite happened. He left everyone in shock and bagged all 4 yes from the judges.

From teacher to rockstar, John Wines took everyone by surprise

John introduces himself to the judges as a music teacher. Being a rockstar was something not expected from a 59-year-old musician. However, he made everyone sing and clap as he played Queen's 'We Will Rock' with his guitar. Heidi Klum was seen singing the song while Howie Mandel waved while sitting in his seat. John got a stand-up ovation from the audience as well as the panelists. Simon Cowell claimed, "I was not expecting that." In no time, the entire audience started clapping and saying, "We want more." The overwhelming experience left John crying on the stage. Sofia Vergara claimed, "You did not think you could be a teacher, did you ever imagine you could be a rockstar?" John replied, "I have a mix of emotions. It's the most nerve-wracking thing I have ever done." Simon who was stunned by the performance said, "You look so normal and nice and sweet and then you turned into somebody else and performed. I love that." John got all 4 Yes from the judges. 

'Never judge a book by its cover!'

Seeing a 59-year-old man perform with the energy of a 20-year-old shocked the fans. After John's performance, a fan tweeted, "Wow, never judge a book by its cover! John Wines ROCKED!!" Another fan placed her bet on John, saying, "Wow John the music teacher was amazing probably one of my picks to win this season." Another shocked fan wrote, "What a great start he has my vote. I so didn't see that coming." 

Furthermore, a fan claimed, "Music is so transcending,he looked like he became Possessed by the spirit of that there Geetar." A shocked fan tweeted, "Didn’t expect that." "This guy is freakin hilarious!!" wrote another.

'AGT' Season 18 releases its new episodes every Tuesday at 8 pm ET on NBC.
