LOS ANGLES, CALIFORNIA: 'AGT: All-Stars' is ready to welcome back spoken word poet Brandon Leake. Leake was the first spoken word poet to perform on 'AGT' and emerged victorious in Season 15. With that win, Leake took home $1 million in prize money, a new Kia Stinger and a chance to perform at the Luxor in Las Vegas.

Brandon Leake was born on May 4, 1992. He grew up in a single parent family in Stockton, California. As a child, he was supported by his single mother who worked 15 different jobs to support him. His passion for poetry was heightened when he worked with Stockton Poet Laureate Tama Brisbane on an All-America City piece after graduating from college. Leake released his debut album, titled 'In My Thoughts,' in 2016 and booked a performance tour for himself. He then completed 40 performances in 12 states. Brandon Leake's journey on 'AGT'

In Season 15 of 'AGT', Leake caught the attention of viewers and judges alike with his extraordinary talent for spoken word poetry and amazing storytelling skills. But that was not the beginning of his journey on the show. He originally applied for Season 12 in 2017, but did not make it to the 'AGT' stage. But instead of giving up, he went back to the drawing board, refined his art and tried again three years later. In the meantime, he worked on his album 'Deficiencies: A Tale from My Dark Side.'

In his 'AGT' audition for 2020, he delivered a heartwarming performance that included a very personal poem about his late sister. This touching performance earned him a Golden Buzzer from judge Howie Mandel. He then advanced to the quarterfinals, where he performed many more pieces about his father, mother and daughter before winning the competition. With "AGT' Leake made history by becoming the first spoken word poet to receive a Golden Buzzer and win the season.

Where is Leake Now?

After winning 'AGT' Season 15, Leake became a well-known wordsmith as the show gave him a platform to showcase his talent. In October 2020, Leake signed a contract with the United Talent Agency. Shortly thereafter, he also announced that he would be a production partner for Team Harmony Foundation's upcoming global online series, 'Hate: What Are You Going To Do?'

Leake's new book, 'Unraveling: Poems' was published in March 2022 and has captured the hearts of his readers. Despite his other commitments, Leake continues to perform at numerous events, expanding his fan base. The 30-year-old poet's spoken word special, 'Brandon Leake: A Family Affair,' aired June 19, 2022, on The CW. He also has a YouTube channel called 'Brandon Leake-CTM,' where he posts poetry, motivational content and an occasional vlog.

'AGT: All-Stars' airs every Monday night at 8.00 pm ET/PT.
