LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kanye West has been controversy's favourite child. The rapper was recently blasted for promoting "White Lives Matter" clothing and making claims about abortion and singer Lizzo's weight, while posting anti-Semitic tweets that led to his accounts being restricted on social media.

Amid all of the storm that is surrounding the 45-year-old, a tweet posted by singer Pink in 2009 has surfaced, where she called out Kanye. The tweet, posted on 14 September 2009, goes, "Kanye West is the biggest piece of s*** on earth. Quote me."

This has led to Twitter users agreeing about Kanye with the 43-year-old singer, with many writing that the tweet has aged like 'fine wine'.

Actor Josh Gad wrote, "Thirteen years later, it's aged like the finest of wines. Love you @Pink." Another Twitter user added, "Pink was RIGHT about Kanye West." A third chimed in, "@Pink (Queen that she is) was right then, and continues to be right now. Kanye's discourse is offensive, dangerous and scary. Anti-semitism has no room in today's world. Neither does racism." A fourth commented, "This is why you are one of my favorite accounts, this tweet still applies."

Kanye was locked out of his Twitter handle within a day of being restricted on Instagram for his vile anti-Semitic post a few hours after Elon Musk welcomed him back to Twitter.

According to New York Post, Kanye, on his Twitter handle, wrote, “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti-Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

The tweet which was seen on his official Twitter handle for a couple of hours was then immediately taken down, with the message, "This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules." By the term 'Deathcon', the rapper seems to be referring to the military term “DEFCON,” which denotes the five levels of security that Pentagon uses to indicate the threats the country faces from other nations.

A Twitter rep said Kanye “has been locked due to a violation of Twitter’s policies.” This indicates that he cannot currently tweet or do any activities on his Twiitter handle. Meanwhile, Kanye’s Instagram page was also restricted.

His comments regarding Jewish people have been described as "horrifying" by Liora Rez, executive director of the watchdog group StopAntisemitism. While speaking to Newsweek, Liora said, "I think we can all agree he [Kanye] has always been a provocateur, and he is struggling with mental-health issues [and] family issues, but once we saw his post, we actually commented right away, 'We strongly urge you to delete this.'
