After 'Flowers', Miley Cyrus drops more hints at ex-husband Liam Hemsworth in spicy new song 'River'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Miley Cyrus had previously hit the charts with the song 'Flowers'. However, it isn't the only one about her ex Liam Hemsworth. Miley Cyrus danced away her pain in a racy music video for her new song 'River' with 14 shirtless men. The ‘Party in the USA’ singer came up with the new song two years after her divorce from Liam Hemsworth and after the release of her post-divorce album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’. Miley was head over heels in love with Liam before their divorce and still not without hope, it seems.
The ‘Wrecking Ball' singer showed off her moves in a black halter little dress as rain poured down on her, while her backing dancers whirled to the song about rebounding from a previous romance. Singing the lyrics, "Heart beats so loud that it’s drowning me out/Living in an April shower/You’re pouring down, baby," the Grammy nominee continued to sing as lights flashed around her.

The erotic music video then switches to black and white and shifts to the ‘Black Mirror' actress encircled by a bunch of hot bods as water rains down on them and splashes their sides. Later on in the song, Cyrus continues to sing about how she can't "stop from wondering" about finding someone who would "have the honor of my babies”.
The singer goes on to express how she wants their future children to have his or her "eyes and that crooked smile.” Before starting her next affair, she then declares that she is in a "drought," which could be a reference to her recent union with musician Maxx Morando.
Is every song by Miley about Liam?
It might have started with ‘Flowers’. When Miley Cyrus debuted the song on February 13, it immediately topped the charts and swept the internet. Since then, fans have been analyzing the song's lyrics and music video in great detail to figure out what it means. 'Flowers' seems to also respond to Bruno Mars' song, 'When I Was Your Man'. The song may have formerly been dedicated to Miley by Liam, but there are also rumors that it was performed at their 2018 wedding.
Fans anticipate hearing more about their breakup on her new album, ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, which is expected to be released in the near future. The song is quite obviously a jab at her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, whom she was with for 10 years and married to for eight months.
