Actress Abigail Breslin, 25, has hit back at an online troll who called her a "pathetic loser" for wearing a mask during the Covid-19 pandemic. The 'Little Miss Sunshine' actress shared a photo of herself on Instagram enjoying a rollercoaster ride in Las Vegas while wearing a face mask. One user left an awful comment on that post asking, "Who's the pathetic loser wearing a mask?."

The actress took offense to the comment and has hit back at the troll with a post captioned, "Sorry not sorry. Although I love ignorant comments (sarcasm obviously), I just can't tolerate it from someone with the username "chesty1987". She also attached a screenshot of her response to the troll. She wrote, "That pathetic loser would be me, someone who lost their dad due to someone not wearing a mask and giving him Covid. You can kindly go f*** off now."

In another Instagram post, the actress requested her fans to report the online troll. She added, "To say my dad died because he was weak is something I will not tolerate." The 'Stillwater' star has thanked two of her fans who responded to the online troll.

When the user chesty1987 commented, "I'm pretty sure wearing a mask isn't going to save anyones life lol. Clearly I know more than her if she thinks someone who wasn't wearing a mask killed her father when in reality he was weak."

Abigail's fan replied to the online troll saying, "you don't know her and you didn't know him. If you want to not wear a mask and find out, be my guest. But you will NOT talk about him that way. Period. Actual human garbage. One day, when you lose someone, I hope people show you more grace than you quite frankly deserve."

In one final Instagram post, Abigail stated that this will be her last post for a while because she doesn't need to further explain herself. One user called the actress hypocrite for not wearing any mask in her recent Instagram photo with her friends; "She's upset that people are not wearing their masks but yet here nobody is...what a hypocrite."

The actress explained to the user, "We took ours off for one photo. Everyone present was vaccinated as well as being tested before hand. I was calling someone out for telling me my father was "weak" because he passed away from Covid and said I was a "pathetic loser" for wearing my mask on a public ride with strangers. I wear my mask always around others. Except for friends I know are vaccinated and have been tested beforehand."

This isn't the first time Breslin has defended wearing a mask amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. She talked about the importance of protecting oneself and others by wearing a face mask right after her dad was placed on a ventilator after testing positive for Covid. She wrote, "This is me saying that if you asked my dad: a mask is FAR LESS uncomfortable than a ventilator." "So stfu. And wear your damn mask. Please," wrote the 'Scream Queens' actress.
