Aaron Carter's ex-rep claims 2 'unidentified men' walked out of singer's home just before his death
LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA: Aaron Carter's former publicist has also joined the claims that suggest there was "foul play" related to the singer's death on November 5, 2022. Kelly K revealed there were two individuals at Carter's residence in the hours leading up to his death and has questioned the authorities' lack of scrutiny as to identifying the pair.
“We are glad this case is finally closed so we can have a celebration of life and send him off to rest,” Kelly K told Page Six. “However, we know two people were at his house leading up to his death and are puzzled as to why those two haven’t been properly identified and/or investigated. We have no idea who the two unidentified men were that were seen just prior to the death walking out of Aaron’s home,” she stated.

'Aaron had a lot of death threats'
Carter, 34, was found dead in the bathtub of his Lancaster home and it was suggested the 'I Want Candy' singer, who had a history of drug abuse and addiction, died of an accidental overdose. His housekeeper frantically called the police after she discovered his lifeless body. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s report stated that Carter died from drowning and the effects of difluoroethane, a flammable gas that is often used as the propellant in cans of compressed air, and alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax. Subsequently, police found multiple cans of compressed air in his bathroom, which would corroborate the autopsy report’s findings.
However, the uproar concerning Carter's death comes after fiance Melanie Martin questiioned the "chain of events.” “He was wearing a T-shirt and necklace in the bathtub, which doesn’t make sense. Why would he be in a bathtub with clothes on? I don’t understand the chain of events.” Previously, the singer's mother, Jane Elizabeth, shared pictures of the bathroom in which his body was found, showing towels strewn on the floor. She claimed that cops "never investigated it as a possible crime scene because of his addiction past." She added, "Aaron had a lot of death threats and many, many people who were making his life miserable."
'That was the police investigation’s job!'
Law enforcement has, however, denied foul play. “Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the death of Aaron Carter," police said, as per told Rolling Stone. “To date, there has been no evidence of foul play found during the investigation. The results of Mr Carter’s autopsy are still pending. The investigation remains ongoing.” Carter's rep Kelly pointed out that it was the authorities' job to identify the individuals, adding that she and her team recognized her client had substance abuse issues and did all they could to help. “The neighbor was a witness. That was the police investigation’s job. Our team actively tried to implement a plan to rehabilitate a recovery to health; however, due to outside influences and triggering dysfunctional relationships, these circumstances made it a challenge.”
