'90 Day: The Single Life' stars Colt Johnson, 36, and Vanessa Guerra, 31, shocked fans when they announced that they have separated due to Johnson’s mother Debbie's interference during the show's season 2 tell-all episode which aired last Friday, 28 January.
“I’m upset that you just can’t do anything by yourself. I’m the first person, the first call, the first everything with you,” Colt told his mother on Friday’s episode of tell-all '90 Day: The Single Life'.

"You’ve raised me to be just a subservient person to you. I shouldn’t be bothered with your life. This is your life. It’s not my responsibility," Colt told his mother Debbie.
Debbie also confronted Colt and Vanessa to discuss her impact on their relationship. “I moved out,” Vanessa revealed. “We’re separated," Colt said.
In October 2021, Colt had revealed on Instagram that the couple had been expecting their first child together. Vanessa also made some heart-breaking revelations about her miscarriage in October. The couple started dating and became engaged in November 2020.
In April 2021, the couple eloped to Reno, Nevada right under Debbie’s nose.
Colt informed that Vanessa had left the home that the couple shared with Debbie, 69, three weeks before a tell-all episode.
"I suffered a miscarriage and you know, we told Debbie about it. She didn't know at first, we kept it from her. Her reaction was, 'I'm sorry,' and she gave me a hug," Vanessa said.
The had couple been living with Debbie since they tied the knot but the tension in the household had put a strain on her pregnancy, Vanessa claimed. She explained, "I was just very stressed about well, one, are we gonna raise [a child] here in this house? It was just a lot of stress … so I kind of felt guilty, like maybe I did something wrong, and then I took it out on him a lot. It was just a lot."
Johnson chimed in that his mother Debbie "obviously has some feelings or emotions, but she can’t express them to me, and I don’t know why."
Vanessa on stage explained about her breaking point and how her miscarriage intensified the situation with Debbie.
“I was just very stressed about well, one, are we gonna raise [a child] here in this house? It was just a lot of stress … so I kind of felt guilty, like maybe I did something wrong, and then I took it out on him a lot,” Vanessa said. “It was just a lot," she added.
Debbie, however, has insisted that she plans to move out soon, insisting Vanessa move in back with Colt.
“[I] didn’t sign up for a part-time husband,” Vanessa said.
