Coronavirus pandemic has left everyone quarantining at home but Jesse Messer had different plans. The reality star revealed he was back in New Zealand because he did not want to be away from his family. Despite this, he decided to quarantine at a hotel. Messer liked having everything in one room, right from a tub to a sauna and he thought he had the perfect quarantine place as he was living in the hotel. He further revealed it was the perfect getaway for him because he wanted a place where he could clear his head. With a perfect view from the window and everything at his disposal, he felt it was the right place to be.

However, there have been times when things have gotten tough for the reality star. Messer revealed he had been feeling "very lonely and sad" as he had to spend his quarantine alone. He hinted he did not like the fact that there wasn't anyone staying with him and he had to be alone throughout his quarantine. Messer also gave a glimpse of how the cafes had been functioning in New Zealand. He said everything had been going according to the guidelines of social distancing and there had been no contact with people even when someone had to get a drink.

He also revealed how he has been keeping himself fit. With gyms closed everywhere, Messer decided to take his workout to the park. He spoke about how he sanitized each and everything before holding it and advised viewers to be careful as well. Unfortunately, coronavirus has hit close to home for Messer. He said his friend was recently diagnosed with coronavirus and has been admitted to the hospital. Calling coronavirus a "strange, dangerous, and unprecedented virus", Messer revealed his friend developed symptoms later on due to which he had a hard time breathing.

To make things worse, his friend is a single father and his son had been quarantining at home alone. Messer said he often bought food for the son and left it outside his door so he could take it. He admitted it was heartbreaking to see how coronavirus was affecting families and hoped everything would come to an end soon.
