KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Shaeeda makes several attempts to persuade Bilal to have a child, but he refuses. This makes fans of '90 Day Fiancé' believe Bilal's refusal to have a kid is due to something else.

Shaeeda pulls Bilal to a baby shop, where he tries everything to get away. In the September 18 episode of '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?,' Bilal tells the store workers, "She don't need to be in here right now." Shaeeda swiftly adds, "He has kids already, but I don’t have any kids." The lighthearted conversation gradually escalates, prompting Bilal to seek guidance from his mother later in the episode.

Shaeeda will not give up. She tries to get Bilal to look at all the baby items, but he is hesitant. This is not the stance Shaeeda had in mind. "When I agreed to the prenup, I specifically added a clause that we will try to have a baby by the time I am 40. But I’m like 2 and a half years away from 40. By that time, I might be too old. If I don’t get a baby by 40, he’s going to pay."

"I just want a baby," she tells Bilal. Because they ended themselves at the baby shop, she believes "God is telling" them something. "We’re not having a child, like this year," Bilal explains to Shaeeda. Bilal says they should get to know each other better before having a child. He selects a baby clothing and declares that when "one of these happen, life as you know stops."

Later on, he continues, "she's jumping the gun. The whole kid thing, I thought we had this settled, considering that she wanted to put this thing in our pre-nuptial agreement about when we’re going to plan on having children. But we’re not ready to have a child. We have to work on living together first." Shaeeda won't concede ground. She makes note of visiting a fertility expert. Bilal claims, "we haven’t even tried having children." Shaeeda explains that she simply needs to know how much time she has left. "He needs to take my timetable and health seriously because I’m getting old. This could be my last chance and, trust me, I’m not going to waste it," Shaeeda exclaims.
