'60 Days In': Fans are roasting Dennis for bringing a shank back from jail, 'Dennis has cracked the case!'
Dennis finally finished his time on '60 Days In' and fans cannot stop talking about his "shocking" discoveries at the Etowah County Jail. At the end of their stay at the jail, all contestants have to report to Cheif Peek and Sheriff Horton and tell them how to improve the jail's situation and inform them of contraband. Dennis brings with him...a shank.
"Dennis has cracked the case! We can all go home now. The cycle of violence will end because of what he did for us. He’s going to bring down the entire jail system with this astounding intel: There are shanks in prison. #60DaysIn," one fan tweeted.
"Aww Dennis thought he did something with that shank lmao They was like yeah we see those all the time. We know. #60DaysIn," tweeted one fan while another said, "Dennis presented a shank. The sheriff was like, 'ok and?!' #60DaysIn"
Another tweeted, "Dennis had to rub it in that the shank came from the jail.#60DaysIn" while a fourth fan mocked him for thinking he did incredibly well, "Dennis so proud of that shank #60DaysIn"
Dennis did not have the best time at the jail -- he first got into trouble with the contestants for being too much of a show-off, then drew too much attention to himself, making the inmates suspicious. Then, he got into some serious hot water with the authorities after he transferred himself to another unit with no cameras, jeopardizing his own safety and the program. He almost got kicked out of the show for it.
He did change his ways after that and seemed to be more focused on the program. He did get meth out with him too, so it's not like he was completely clueless. However, the damage seems to have already been done.
"#60DaysIn Dennis is so proud of that shank you would think he gave birth!!! From what I saw a shank is very easy to get if you have the items to pay for it. He's not special because he got one," tweeted a fan. Another said, "Dennis got out and went right back to his douchebag ways."
