LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Disney's newest animated film, 'Inside Out 2', pulls at viewers' hearts with its breathtaking visuals and relatable narrative that shines light on emotions.

The film, directed by Kelsey Mann, is the sequel to the 2015 film 'Inside Out' and tells the story of Riley Andersen (Kensington Tallman), a 13-year-old girl whose emotions dwell and control her from her brain.

The film is creating ripples among fans, with many claiming to have felt tearful after seeing it. So, if you've already seen the film or are looking for comparable content, check out our selection of five films that will undoubtedly pull at your heartstrings.

With time, 'Up' has gained a cult following among moviegoers due to its breathtaking visuals and poignant storyline.

The narrative revolves around Carl Fredricksen (Ed Asner), a grouchy elderly widower who is determined to realize his lifetime goal of seeing Paradise Falls in South America. He attaches hundreds of balloons to his home, turning it into a floating airship.

Unbeknownst to him, an 8-year-old wilderness adventurer called Russell (Jordan Nagai) becomes an unintentional stowaway on his journey.

Carl and Russell go on an amusing and uplifting voyage packed with surprising encounters, including talking dog Dug (Bob Peterson), an upset bird called Kevin, and perils hiding in South America's wilderness.

Like 'Inside Out 2', 'Up' addresses emotions via a character's journey of loss, sadness, and, eventually, acceptance and joy.

WALL-E

'WALL-E', another Disney entry, is about the only robot remaining on a future Earth. The film follows WALL-E (Ben Burtt) which is a Waste Allocation Load Lifter: Earth-Class.

WALL-E spends his days meticulously compacting rubbish into clean cubes after millennia of human wastefulness have transformed the world into a huge landfill.

Over time, WALL-E develops a personality and a sense of curiosity by collecting intriguing stuff from the trash.

The core theme of 'WALL-E' is Earth's changing environment and the need for humans to adapt, which is quite similar to 'Inside Out 2' in that the film explores how Riley's emotions navigate the complexities of adolescence, a period of significant change and growth.

Finding Nemo

The 2003 film 'Finding Nemo' follows Marlin (Albert Brooks), an overprotective clownfish, in his search for his son Nemo (Alexander Gould).

Nemo, anxious to explore the ocean reef, disobeys his father and is caught, then placed in the office of dentist Philip Sherman (Bill Hunter).

Marlin, driven by dread and shame, embarks on a risky journey to rescue him. Both films, 'Finding Nemo' and 'Inside Out 2' share their characters' emotional intricacies of adolescence, making 'Finding Nemo' a must-see if you loved 'Inside Out 2'.

Moana

The 2016 film Moana tells the narrative of Moana (Auliʻi Cravalho), the strong-willed daughter of a Polynesian chief.

When a strange scourge threatens her island, Moana discovers that the demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) stole the heart of Te Fiti, a strong goddess who maintains the ocean's equilibrium.

Determined to rescue her people, Moana sets sail across the ocean to locate Maui and persuades him to return Te Fiti's heart.

Both Moana and the emotions in 'Inside Out 2' are seen dealing with internal conflicts. Moana struggles between her urge to explore and her responsibility to her family.

'Inside Out 2' dives into the emotional upheaval that comes with puberty as Riley navigates new emotions and attempts to find equilibrium.

Ratatouille

The 2007 film 'Ratatouille' is the stuff of crazy fantasies, telling the narrative of Remy (Patton Oswalt), a rat with a heightened sense of smell and taste who aspires to be a chef.

Remy gets separated from his family after an encounter with humans and ends up in Paris, near his hero, Auguste Gusteau, at a renowned restaurant.

Remy meets Alfredo Linguini (Lou Romano), a teenage trash collector who unintentionally learns Remy's cooking skills.

The two develop a covert alliance in which Remy controls Linguini's cooking by tugging his hair behind a chef's hat. Like 'Inside Out 2', which employs a new viewpoint on emotions, 'Ratatouille' takes a fresh perspective on a rat with gourmet tastes in Paris' culinary industry.
