Wolfe posted a heartfelt tribute for his friend on Instagram, showcasing pictures and videos of Peterson. He revealed that Peterson was not just a regular guest on the show, but also his most influential mentor.
Bob passed away at the age of 72. As of this moment, the exact cause of his death has not been revealed.
Mike started by writing, “A few days ago we lost a man that we looked to as a mentor. Not just with mechanical things but in how we should live our lives. Bob was an example to us as someone that loved life and seized each day with so much passion. Always there to help with such conviction and of course humor."
The 'American Pickers' star added, "He was from an era that we can only romanticize about now. My life and so many others lives were better with him in it. He will be greatly missed. I love you my friend."

The insider added, "Instead of having a full season with a new episode every week, they do 10 episodes and stop. It pisses them off. Robbie has complained about how ‘stupid’ it was to see episodes filmed a year prior.”
They continued, “They are trying to play with all these things and see what happens. Like, ‘Oh OK we can do this, we can do that.'”
