'1000-lb Sisters': Fans dub Tammy 'delusional' for thinking she won't be bedbound soon

As Chris finally got approved for surgery, Tammy believes that she will get healthy in her own time

For Tammy Slaton, her weight loss journey is a never-ending topic of discussion. Although she made significant progress at rehab, multiple factors seem to set her back continuously. And now, it looks like the people around her are moving forward with their lives, while she remains stuck at the same point.

With her brother Chris finally being approved for surgery, he is ready to get healthy after putting in the effort. At the same time, he found himself worrying for his sister, as he mentioned that she had initially started her weight loss journey with Amy and then with Chris, but in a sense, they both had now left her behind. On the other hand, her sister, Misty, worries that Tammy is preoccupied with her relationships, which takes away her attention from the real issues.

On the day of Chris' surgery, Misty spoke to Tammy to check on her feelings. Tammy claimed that she is okay and she understands that she will get to where she needs to be in her own time. Misty agreed but noted that her family needed to speed up the process. Tammy stated that her situation could be a lot worse, and at least she is not bedbound. Fans were exasperated at her reasoning. 
"Tammy is two Skittles and a wish away from being bedfast and she's talking about how grateful her family should be. She's delusional. #1000lbSisters" tweeted a fan. "If Tammy was my sister, I would've been let her fall by the wayside. I get irritated with stupidity and when people don't really want to change their situation. #1000lbSisters" added another. "Tammy you know you're not doing anything to lose weight. So stop wasting everyone's time driving you around, taking you back and forth to appointments, helping you 24/7 while you b***h.  #1000lbsisters" noted a fan. "Did Tammy really just say at least she ain't in the bed and they have to wash her ass from the bed! Like bitch you still can't fit in the damn shower and wash your ass so what's the difference?? #1000lbSisters" said a user. "I don't think Tammy realizes how close to bedbound she really is. Talking about they need to be thankful hm yea they need to be thankful ..Yeaa #1000lbSisters" noted a fan. 

She is currently facing some drama with her ex, but fans aren't buying into it. 
"I really am starting to relieve that Tammy doesn't care if she loses the weight or not because she continues to find all these men who like her at her current weight. #1000lbSisters" added a fan. "Tammy trying to create some boyfriend drama & bring the focus back on her #1000lbSisters" tweeted another.
