NYFW SS 2023: NCT Jeno makes debut as runway model for Peter Do, fans say 'proud is an understatement'

Fans of the NCT member are extremely proud of Lee Jeno making his model debut for Peter Do at the 2023 NYFW Spring Runway show

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: It is not every day that you get to see K-pop idols as runway models but something like this has taken place as NCT's Jeno (Lee Jeno) makes his runway debut for New York fashion designer Peter Do. Along with other SM Entertainment artists, Jeno attended the New York Fashion Week on September 13 as he walked for the 2023 Spring/Summer collection 'Time' runway show for Peter Do.

With this new feat, the NCT member drew attention by opening the show for the first time being the only K-pop artist to do so. Aside from Jeno, the show also featured SM Entertainment Rookies' trainees Eunseok and Shohei who also walked the show as models whereas the label's girl group, Red Velvet Seulgi was invited as a special guest to watch the show. Now as Jeno has made his runway debut, fans cannot control their excitement for what the future had in store for him as he makes new famous friends in New York.

NCT Jeno meets popular celebrities ahead of his runway debut

Aside from walking the Peter Do fashion show, NCT Jeno was also the only Asian male artist to be invited to the global event 'VOGUE WORLD' to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the luxury fashion brand, Vogue. The 'Vogue World' show was held in New York on September 12 and had a wide range of Hollywood celebrities in attendance.

At the Vogue show, Jeno was seen sitting in the front row as he watched the models walk the ramp for Vogue. Outside of the event, many global NCTzens (fans of NCT) gathered to see Jeno as he socialized with the who's who of the industry including names like Jared Leto, Sabrina Carpenter, Ellie Goulding, Dove Cameron, and more.

Fans are only singing praises of Jeno telling him how proud they are of him for making his modeling debut. One fan said, "Lee jeno, the first kpop idol to ever open a nyfw show. he is a STAR."
