Emmys 2020: Zendaya dazzles in plunging glam outfit, Internet says 'there should be riots' if she doesn't win

Designer Christopher John Rogers, whose outfit she wore, shared a picture of Zendaya on his Instagram calling her his 'muse'

The 72nd annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is being held virtually but that hasn't stopped celebrities from going completely glam to celebrate the event. Even though the ceremony didn't host a red or purple carpet event for the first time in its 72-year history due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Zandeya got all glammed up and showed off her stellar look from home. 

Zendaya donned designer Christopher John Rogers' beautiful piece which was a plunging dress featuring a royal purple taffeta skirt complete with a chic, built-in cummerbund. She accessorized her look with glittering Bulgari jewels and Christian Louboutin crystal-embellished heart pumps. Rogers shared a picture of Zendaya on his Instagram calling her his 'muse'.

The 24-year-old actress who's up against Laura Linney, Jennifer Aniston, Olivia Colman, Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh in the outstanding lead actress in a drama series category said "It’ll be probably just my family over here, but I definitely want to pull a look and maybe just walk my living room carpet," before the event.

As soon as the award ceremony started, people started rooting for their favorite stars, and in no time, many people showered support on Zendaya, as one fan tweeted, "I only recently got round to binge-watching @euphoriaHBO a few weeks ago and I f**king LOVED it! If @Zendaya doesn’t get an Emmy for it then it’s a f**king travesty and there should be riots. #EuphoriaHBO #Emmy #Emmys2020," while another fan shared a video of her glam look and wrote, "Always serving.
